I'd brandish my obsidian knife at them and they'd be compelled to approach. "That's very cool," they'd say, confident in their superior strength and endurance from all the rocks they carry around at all times. They'd shower me with very interesting facts about obsidian and hover just out of range of the cutting edge, waiting for me to exhaust myself. "But as it is volcanic glass, it is very fragile, you see, and isn't well-suited for use as a weap-" and then I'd hit them with the wooden baseball bat in my other hand, which they would not have noticed because geologists can only see rocks and minerals

it's good to see someone do it with machines no offense to the people who do it by hand. But nothing beats the precision of machinery.

I love this! I was watching a knapping video where he was making virtually the same knife as this the other day and was wondering if modern glass/stone cutting tools could also be used to make an obsidian knife, and this short perfectly answered my question! Thanks fella! :)

Which is a no, considering how the sharpness of the blades are form with fractures not with contants grinding and polishing.

Bro I can't believe it's real obsidian because the shards of real obsidian would have gotten into his hands while grinding with gloves. Nevertheless the less bro created a piece of beauty which is praiseworthy.😊
