DISCLAIMER: Yes, this was a free experience, and I will eventually get a free Meta Quest 3 headset and copy of Batman: Arkham Shadow. @@haarisajmeri9811 problem is, no one is making a AAA game for vr head set plus not alot people owned one, so the sales kinda have to be lower than most Arkham games thats out right now plus since it's a quest only game, the highest amount of sale is like 500k to 750k, not sure honestly. If the game release on steam and PlayStation it will be higher

And oculus quest 3 still has a fair price than a PSVR2 & APPLE VR (i already forgot the name but goddamn it has some mind blowing stuff in an unprecedented expensive way) also people have interest in VR it's like PS you will buy it if they have game's.
If Camoflaj can nail both Iron Man and Batman in VR, then I feel I can trust them with any superhero property.

They also made a crazy good Iron Man game. These guys know how to make a game feel like you’re in a movie
personally the best thing out of all this is learning that they're make a smaller scale game, it's a really good sign
It also means if its succesful we can see updates, DLC or sequels to it and hopefully it gets ported to PCVR and PSVR eventually once its had time to itself on the quest platform
It definitely won't come to psvr. Pcvr is a very small possibility. But the idea is to get people on Quest. Quest owns the studio making the game.

I highly doubt they're going to leave out Riddler, the man's got a seven or eight game streak at this point, the only game he HASN'T been in is Blackgate.

@@Bosscarnage4 Depending on the story length, we could see him go from Enigma to Riddler as a plot point. We defeat Enigma properly and he takes it upon himself to become Riddler, thus setting up his role in Asylum onward.

Last year alongside assassins creed nexus they also launched asgards wrath 2 exclusive on quest.
Its a massive 100 hour action adventure RPG where you can play as different heros. And the third hero as exactly those claws ;)
Give it time. We'll get masterpieces of all sorts in vr soon enough.

holy shit that's awesome I'm in the middle of Arkham Knight and it's been pretty fun you're amazing and SUPER underrated Edit: Arkham Knight has been such a good game and since I'm in Xbox I'm saving up my rewards points for gift cards for the dlc

Not only did they pick a great person to fly out and review this game, I aint even played it and I already am considering buying a meta quest 3 just for this game. It honestly just looks amazing and I CANNOT WAIT to see how this game looks fully polished and complete in three months. at the least this game will be alright but I don't even think that's possible anymore!
I'm getting the feeling that "Meta's Camouflaj" is gonna be the Old "Rocksteady" of VR games.
I can't wait to try it out once i have the quest3. 😊
Once you get on you also should check out assassins creed nexus, Asgards wrath 2, ironmam vr, Star Wars and resident evil 4 vr. All amazing on quest.
And if you also own a pc, half life alyx obviously

I have never in my life changed opinion on a game faster. I thought Arkham Shadow would be just the last attempt to make money off of the Arkham franchise but I quickly got shut up after that trailer

As a person who's been playing vr for a while. I love vr, bonelab, b&s, contractors. All great games. All have lots of mods to make it more fun. I was already planning on upgrading to a quest 3 as I currently have a quest 2. And batman arkham shadow is just another reason for me to get a quest 3. I'm glad that PC or Console players are finally realising vr isn't just a gimmick. Me and a lot of the others in the vr community are really excited to see people rethink their opinion on vr games.
I never had any doubt in my mind that this game would be good. Ever since they described the combat as "punching towards enemies" I had that feeling inside my heart that THIS is the arkham game we've been craving for a decade. My only gripe is that it's exclusive to the Quest 3. Wish it was on more vr platforms. But other than that, this game seems GOD TIER!
Im hoping that the exclusivity ends up just being a timed thing and we get this game on PC at the very least in the next couple years

I have a quest 2 and upgrading is expensive so playing this on PC would help a lot

Words can describe how happy and excited I was to hear all of the things you talked about in the video. I am a die-hard batman fan and have played all four of the main games over and over multiple times as well as read and watched a ton of batman related stuff. To hear you about how you can do what you can from the other games made me feel like I was gonna feel nostalgic because I already a ton of vr and when I saw this was announced I told myself I was gonna play this game even if it would be trash just so I could find out for certain if i was gonna miss out. This video gives me severe hope about this games execution of batman in vr. Thank you for showing us your experience and insights with the game.
I never expected this day to come. You went from a RUclipsr that did challenge runs on Arkham shadow with not that many subscribers to a RUclipsr that was noticed by a freaking development team! This game seems promising, but it is sad that people without a vr headset cannot enjoy this new arkham game, but this game itself will probably lead to people buying the meta quest 3. Excited to see how far this goes! (Also love your videos clownpuncher)

man I'm so proud of this channel, I've always seen the potential it had and don't remember exactly when I subscribed but I remember it was in between a thousand and ten thousand subscribers, seeing you being able to play an Arkham game early makes me sooooo happy

I think I know why Arkham Shadow is coming that’s because many people wants a remaster of Arkham Origins and fix the bugs and etc.
As much as I didn't like the Meta Quest 3 exclusivity, this gameplay looks genuinely good!

This is truly awesome, seeing early gameplay. At first, I had doubt for this game, only because it was a VR game. But now, even though I can't play it, the game looks INCREDIBLE. Favourite Arkham game was City, but this? This will genuinely be the peak of Batman games, for VR, I love how everything from the Arkham games are included. The original Batman Arkham VR game was awesome, but only a slight puzzle/exploration game. I played it, was fun, detailed, but really short. And the price was £15 for an hour worth of gameplay. I am STOKED for this one.

Man with a team of people modding half life 2 into a Vr title makes me want someone to make a team to make asylum and city into Vr titles using a similar combat system to this. I know that doing that would be most likely impossible but that would be amazing!

Dude.......dude, This was the 4th "Hey look I got to play Batman, the devs flew me out" video I've seen.... and by FAR the BEST. Strict VR content creators are great and all, the videos I saw from them were, as expected. But what I really needed was a review from a BATMAN content creator!!! Ya, effin killed it Bro, Keep "Batman content creatoring".....yeah we'll go with that 🤣
A but unrelated to the game but I absolutely love James Gordon's model. It's super expressive.
VR continues to be impossible to show off in videos. You still have to play the games in order to understand.
By the way, you mentioned that you have had a decent amount of VR gameplay under your belt, but then directly after you said that you mentioned that this game was doing something different with movement. Like.. no teleporting. That made me realize you haven't really played much.
But now with the Quest 3, you'll have access to so many more amazing games available in VR. Teleporting isn't really a thing in most of the bigger games. There's a lot on a similar level of quality to this game, and this is a great gateway to all of that!

I like this direction of game studios working with fan channels of the IPs they're on. It's effectively just a component of advertising, but I think it helps build a rapport that fans feeling like they lose with their favorite franchises. It's something that Rocksteady or WB Games need to follow if they hope to make another Arkham game.

I know that it is Quest exclusive and there probably wont be a chance that we will see it come to steam vr. However as an index user, a former mixed reality user. i do hope at some point the game will be ported to steam vr so more fans of the arkham series can play it.

Roger Craig smith has voiced Batman in more than just origins. Most recently in the Batman ninja 2018 movie
if they do decide to add challenge maps, even if it's not directly on launch, i'd be super stoked if they did something similar to the previous games. by that i'm referring to maps such as wayne manor and the batcave - maps that don't directly appear in the main story but are still explorable through challenge maps. the good thing is, these maps don't require tons of assets and won't be an issue from a hardware perspective. another pro to this idea is that time isn't an issue, as i said, us players would be fine if this was introduced as a future update or small dlc after launch.
