Suzuki Swift:
The 1st Generation Suzuki Swift was launched in 2010 by Pak Suzuki in Pakistan. The Swift is front engine front wheel drive subcompact car. The Suzuki Swift 2020 is available in 2 variants DLX Navigation and DLX Automatic Navigation.
Exterior
Suzuki Swift exterior features a unique design language. The front end houses sharp sleek upswept headlights, a small rectangular grille with chrome accents, a rectangular air intake and circular fog lights. The rear end houses trapezium styled upswept stacked taillights and a standard case hatchback. All variants of the Suzuki Swift feature identical styling in every aspect. The overall exterior of the 1st Generation Swift is unique and well-proportioned and can stand out among the other range of hatchbacks available in Pakistan.
Interior
Suzuki Swift interior features the use of black plastic trim pieces. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric. Standard features on the DLX Navigation include air conditioning, navigation, power windows, power lock doors, power steering, tachometer, ABS, allow wheels, front fog lights and a stereo speaker audio system. The overall interior of the 1st Generation Suzuki Swift is fairly spacious, comfortable and practical especially when considering the Swifts small exterior dimensions.

Differences between DX and DLX against what owner said:
1) DLX has Alloy Rims
2) Front Chrome Grill
3) ABS which DX doesn't have (since launch)
4) Powered Side Mirrors (Windows are powered in both)
5) All the trims as mentioned ( door handle, side mirror, door panels, gear etc)
6) 4 speakers instead of two (+navigation in case of navigation variant)

One of the best owner review uptill now, the guy seems genuine and was honest about his views regarding swift. One suggestion I would like to give about these owner reviews is that kindly avoid careem or uber driver's owner reviews, their perspecrive is a bit different from a car owner who is using it for personal use. This review for example had everything I would like to know about the car and the owner was honest and educated enough to give legit info, that couldn't be said about a careem or uber driver....but a mature and fantastic effort to say the least!

swift is a great car, i own a DX with automatic windows and have driven it more than 170,000 km. The car is literally a TANK and can take a serious beating. Iv only changed the clutch plate after 160,000 km other than that no work at all.

First tuning at 5000km of Honda City cost me Rs 2400 only. At 10,000km tunning cost me Rs 4600 only. After that till 40,000 same charges Rs 4600. At 40,000 disc pads cost me 9600 including labour in addition to 4600 tunning charges. 2100 extra paid for throttle body cleaning done after every 40,000km.

Not true
It can easily cross 180, but Suzuki places an electronic speed limiter which doesn't let it cross 180. Also ABS was only not present in the dx variant, it was always present in dlx.
This particular swift model i had bought in 2006 as it was launched in 2005 first as a 1.3 VVT petrol and 1.3 DDIS in 2007 and Mr. Zeeshan has bought the same 2005 launched model in 2017. Its a pity that Suzuki and Honda are looting you guys.

I own Swift Dlx manual in 2013 and sold in 2014. Its a nice car pick up is very nice, interior, exterior quality is nice, drive is very nice, suspension is soft. However I feel on above 100km/h it's not stable. Leg space is less for front back passengers other then car worth every penny.

Thank God I purchased Honda City. Fuel average within city with AC is 15km/ltr. Long route mileage is 17.5km/ltr with AC (fully loaded). Lahore to Rawalpindi via GT road within half tank. 😊

Respected sir! As everyone knows, Pakwheels is the biggest-plate form in Pakistan for automobile industries. I beg to say that, you people have to take action on Pakistan manufacturing companies. I rented Swift 2012 model (only 10,000 km driven) for abt 15 days , when i visited Pakistan back in 2016, it was a great car to drive in Lahore city, really enjoyed the manual gear, also had a minor accident too, lol.

this car's fuel consumption is very bad. I have swift 2018 automatic navi. my daily travelling is around 90Km round trip and this car is very heavy on my pocket when it comes to fuel.

Alhamdulillah ! Just got my reborn yesterday as my first car. Very Happy very satiafied. But it's Fuel economy is awful. I hope it gets better with time but ATM Fuel economy is not that great.

Nice review...swift is a nice car..but no comparison with civic...my friend bought new swift month ago...and he started having some technical issues like u have mentioned..more above u forgot to highlight an important point which is we can also installed cng in swift as well..which become very economical..as compared to swift low averge..

Bought a S Swift At in December last year. But feel no hesitation to admit that it was a bad decision.
The first thing I noticed to my surprise, was a sound coming from front wind screen, which is a permanent manufacturing flaw. The second thing is a sound from left side wiper. It was fixedby 3S dealership, but now started again. Space is certainly not good and oil average doesn't go neyoumg 8 in city drive. 10 to12 on long drive.
Asghar Khan agreed i purchased mine less than a month ago same issues especially build quality

The manual variant of cultus i.e Cultus VXL also has airbags , not only the automatic variant ! Some other information provided about swift in the review is also wrong .

swift main k series engine 1200 cc hona chiye. uss k 2 benefit hain buyer ko. 1st fuel economy achi ho gi. 2rd token tax kam ho ga. swift ka token city and corolla say ziyada ha. because ye 1300cc to 1500cc ki category main ati ha. jab k city and corolla 1200cc to 1300cc main ati hain. corolla city ka token 8000 ha and swift ka 11000.

Pakistan me abhi tak ye 2nd gen. Swift hi bik rahi hai jo ki yaha India me 2010 me band ho gai thi aab yaha India me 4th gen. sell ho rahi hai. Price ₹ 500,000 se start hai yaha.
Swift 2010; same as current DLX manual without navi and integrated panel. it used to have the two din audi player.
later swift split into two models; DLX and DX.
differences were; rims, black wrap on A & B pillar, tyres, fog lamps, chrome grill, color side mirror & handle, power side mirror, ABS+EBD & BA, dlx has 4 while dx has two speakers, dx with 1 din audio player & dlx with silver integrated panel. gloss door trim, chrome trims
Central locking, & power windows were and are standard on all variants since start.
the auto has a 4 speed CVT. the engine is m13a (same as liana)
the pre split model had double folding rear seats (back fold and then whole sandwiched seat can be folded onto rear footwell. (bad decision on suzuki to remove it)
the DLX model used to have Bridgestone turanza AR10s (now yokohama)
The car is cheap to buy as per features available but the parts are still expensive. suzuki will sell you a headlight for 17.5k bumpers are around 7k each, compressor which fails in some cases after warranty period is replaced at 110k
if kept properly you can get 14 kmpl in city with moderate traffic. i got over 16 on long.
