    Der Meister Yes I am a salesman, but I sell all the whisky and whiskey in the world. So my opinion stays unbiased. This is also a reason why I don't like to give malt marks.

      Whisky.com I didn't question your judgment. But these vids seem to me factory-made. There's a hidden agenda: You are trying to tout your website which is connected to your german shop. great idea from an economical point of view. But I miss the real passion, the commitment not only to the selling of whisky but to the product itself. and ralfy gives me the impression of that dedication. that's all. i'm watching your vids anyway.

      Der Meister The connection to the shop is definitely NOT my intention on THIS channel.
      ruclips.net/video/Vz2OblNxhcg/видео.html
      And its up to everybody themselves to watch me or ralfy. And I am glad that he is here, because this promotes whisky itself. And that a win for everyone in the whisky business.

    I've recently found your channel and love the videos you produce.
    I've learned how to appreciate whisky thanks to your learning whisky videos. For the first time I was able to notice the smaller nuanced flavors in my whisky.
    Keep up the great work!

    When you drink a whiskey at home and it is very familiar, do you drink it the same way as when you are doing a tasting or do you just sip on some casually?

    • @bernardjansen6205
      @bernardjansen6205 2 года назад

      Great question. One surely can't be “tasting” every time? Room for a tumbler and some ice?

    Impressive bar. Some are right up my ally. As a massive Glendronach fan, that 24 would be a dream dram. Also, based on what you said, I need to go to Germany and become your friend. HA!

    so you never go over 2.5L per year?

    • @bitoverrate2753
      @bitoverrate2753 9 лет назад

      +Runescapeguides110 1/4 of an oz a day.

    • @Runescapeguides110
      @Runescapeguides110 9 лет назад

      how can you even taste anything with 1/4 oz. a shot is 1.5 oz

    • @bitoverrate2753
      @bitoverrate2753 9 лет назад

      One shot varies from country to country, go to russia and it's bigger. However if you did the math it would work out to one shot every 4 days.

    • @skiwabasis
      @skiwabasis 9 лет назад +2

      +Bitover rate I believe he means 2.5L of pure spirit. Meaning he likes to keep his intake under 7.75 bottles (70cl) of 46% abv. per year.

    • @jeremyh4710
      @jeremyh4710 8 лет назад +1

      +Runescapeguides110 2.5L a year is hardly anything. I think most of us drink around a L/month and are still completely healthy

    when i'm watching these vids i face an excellent salesman, when i'm watching ralfy's i face a human being...

    • @ccarr1025
      @ccarr1025 7 лет назад +7

      Der Meister what a ridiculous assessment. I've seen Horst and his son review whiskey of all types and price ranges objectively. Horst simply tells you what he tastes and smells. He will tell you it's not his favorite etc. I like Ralfy too, but Horst does not come across as a salesman here. He never shills for specific brands etc. I imagine he is a great salesman, but to imply that Ralfy is somehow human when Horst is not is nonsense. Quit being a fanboy.
