I just started playing this game on my pc with a controller via xbox app. It’s been more than 15 years since I first played Ninja Gaiden. I’m 42 years old and still having fun.

One of the best games ever made. I can play it now 10 or 15 years later and the tension is still there and that first crystal skull challenge is still the bane of my existence.

this game was more about Ryu's vendetta rather than a quest and what it actually means to be a ninja! as in the end it is concluded 'Ryu is neither a hero nor a villain, he is what his duty wants him to be'

This game has the most satisfying gore I have ever seen also has the coolest ability like the grip of murder which consumes your health but you get this badass finisher named the steel on bone attack

Good to see Ryu is still in contact with his D.O.A. friends. For Hayate to loan Ryu the Jinran-Ranmu they must be good friends.
Hayate and Ryu grew up together and were on par until NG 2

I don't get why ryus dragon sword is not used very much by youtubers doing walkthroughs for these games. It's such a good but underrated weapon.
His dragon sword become his cursed (look at his right arm)... so he can't use it anymore.. but he use dragon sword again when he fight canna.

@@mac1bc that's fair but I might just be a bit biased because I beat NG 1 and 2 on their highest difficulty. (Sigma) versions. I just found RE's loop and enemy placements to be easier and more fair.
To be honest this my most favourite ninja gaiden game, because of its gameplay, story, and gore with violence.

I didn’t like the first few levels where you fight the military but I loved the later parts of the game where there are crystals being fired all over the buildings in the city. The second half of the game is where it starts to be fun
Try ninja Master , the enemies were ninja from the start. Even the stealth one.

This game is great . But sucky part is the no health herb it forces u be extra careful
I think your ninpo attack with the dragon restores your health and I believe the Steel on Bone mechanic does the same as well

Loved the first one the best , it had great exploration and cool upgradeable weapons and action and bosses, it just seemed more fun to me

In the future, they should make a Blade video game with similar controls mechanics to this or to DMC 4. Blade showing off his Ninjutsu. Along with his Boxing, Capoeira, Shotokan Karate, Hapkido, Jiu-Jitsu , Escrima, Jeet Kun Do, and Northern Shaolin. On top of being born Daywalker, showcasing his superhuman strength, speed, agility, stamina, dexterity and blitzing his enemies faster than lightning and regeneration(healing fast like Wolverine but can't regrow organs and limbs) etc.😎⚔️🗡️

Its still not good......Just because you add in the obliteration techniques and limb removal, doesn't make the game less trash....Its still full of piss poor god awful garbage trash game design, the AI can still get broken into a loop of constantly trying to grab you, bosses can still attack you even when your hitting them, meanwhile the same doesn't apply to you...The helicopter boss is just stupid trash just like the tank and helicopter in the first game...And Jesus Christ that final boss is god awful with a god awful camera angle

@@CJDNMB dude nothing beats Black bro, 😹 that games flow is insane, and more grounded. Especially the dashes/dash attacks, makes you feel like you’re in a ninja movie. But other than that, 3 is just fast-paced, action packed, constant combos and dashing. Black’s just more laid back man, not as crazy as 3, but it’s still one of hell of a fucking challenge

Razors edge is different from 3. In 3 all you had was the sword. They added skills and weapons in this one.

NG1 absolute classic, NG2 took everything that was god in first game and made it better (NG2 is my fav game game ever) NG3 Re is ok as an action hack n slash but falls so short of the other 2 games!

I have just finished NG3 Razor's edge remastered and i have to say that i enjoyed the gameplay as fan of previous NG games, but, this game cant compare with NG black or sigma neither to NG 2 sigma, the story is bad, doesn't have healing items or sort of this kind of things finding here and there, almost halve variety of weapons you can have compare to the last 2 and no skill require you just fight and kill nothing less nothing more...but for some reason i liked the game the combat style and the visuals. Worst NG game but then again so much better than many other 2021 games out there ;)
There are healing times in this one. You have to buy them in the menu where you can buy skills or costumes.

Upgrade your weapons and ninpo if you want it to be easier, theres lots of techniques you could do like the sigma games, same combo. Also alchemists do lots of blocking and they attack you very fast and unfairly, you need to study their moveset fr, i really despise them to death lol.

Well that because this is the story of Ryu hayabusa and his humanity also it’s about a Slavic curse which his dragon sword is absorb into his body because of the evil people and monsters he killed since Ninja Gaiden prequel 2004 then prequel sequel Ninja Gaiden II/ Ninja Gaiden sigma II not hayate, During this timeline Hayate is almost a master Ninja of his samurai family clan which some of them are Shinobi 🥷/ Ninja 🥷
