Bouzouk Xp I have been strumming the mandolin and I know guitar pretty much is the bazooki the same as a mandolin in tuning?

For the tuning it depends of you, generally the Irish Bouzouki is tuned in "GDAD", but if you play the mandolin in "GDAE" you can tune your bouzouki in "GDAE" like Gerry Mckee =). I play in "ADAD". =)
