I hate how no one is talking about the leaf art. The girl basically got a fresh leaf and printed an old picture onto it for differences/contrasting. She way she explained it made so much sense. Differences within art is always nice, it doesn’t always have to be the same thing.

Why did I cry when the girl in the red jacket explained the painting of her mother? 😭A lot of parents immigrate in the first place to give their children a better life than they had back home and so a lot of them end up doing the lower-paid jobs that most people don't want to do to support that dream. @@Emmyboo0412 I haven't tried it before, but from what I found out is that you have to print a photograph onto a sheet of plastic and put that above a big leaf. Then it's placed in the sun so the spaces where the print is keeps the chlorophyll (green color) and the unprinted part takes the sun in and gets "bleached"
it annoys me so much when people say “they must’ve made this on drugs” or “they must’ve made this while drunk”. Idk if it’s just me but it irritates me so much because it’s just they’re art style when they probably made it at home normally.
I mean if I remember correctly 2 or 3 artist did admit to taking. And was part of there inspiration.
bothers me too. i think it's just an attempt at being "funny" but it's like what's the joke? that art is outlandish? it's a painting haha
It doesn't really annoy me much because i know of a lot of artists who say they are high or on drugs while doing art. Normally when i saw sumn someone made in my class and it was kinda gnarly, i asked them about how they made it and they admitted to being on drugs when they did it
I don't mind it, personally.
I take it more like a joke, in a "you really used your imagination in this piece" kind of way.
I literally just commented on this subject so thank you
My heart goes out to the clothes designer even I felt insulted because I found his work the most impressive
Very under appreciated
Definitely, it looks beautiful
I know it was so sad when she said it looks like a child made it
Honestly, but I feel like it was a dumb question to ask anyways - no artist wants to hear that their art want looks like it was made by a child, it really messes you up yk
Most impressive? Really...
Cut: Who should we ask to haul out the stand and art pieces for this vid
Cut: How about the tiniest person we employ

I love her blunt honesty. She mad the video.
Yeees I hate the people that don’t like her and are making a scene just because they don’t have a sense of humour
like no one asked the girl to talk about it 🤷🏻♀️
Thea P being straight up rude to people you’ve never met is not ”humor” though. Its just being an asshole.
@@bookmilla8616 true.

In fact, she just confirmed that she has a 'dark side'
The lady who painted her mom, was my favorite. Janitors, housekeepers, etc. deserve way more recognition than they get. I have major respect for those who work in the cleaning industry. I also want to say that their work doesn’t go unnoticed and they are very much appreciated by so so many.
That leaf art was really under appreciated. Such a awesome creative idea.
Not really
I agree! It’s beautiful and has a deeper meaning

The mom in gold painting was my favorite. I dunno it is just precious
agreed. it was beautiful in its meaning and execution
That was my favorite from the beginning
Best one hands down.
My choice too, made me nearly tear up when she explained it
Iiiiii
I hate how no one is talking about the leaf art. The girl basically got a fresh leaf and printed an old picture onto it for differences/contrasting. She way she explained it made so much sense. Differences within art is always nice, it doesn’t always have to be the same thing.
the girl in the brown jacket has mastered hilarious awkwardness
She would be a great stand up comedian
I loved her, she cracked me up 😂
i was dying of laughter 😂
“...so you definitely didn’t do a scam like my mom did...”
I wish she'll be in more videos soon she's so funny
I knew the girl with the bald head did the tampon piece lmao, surprised no one picked her immediately.
Same lmao
right
But as Cid said, it was so obvious it seemed like a trap. The artist's a complete cliche.
That's sexist
Yep, it was either the girl with bald head or the one with the glasses (she got that feminist mouth and she gives off feminist vibes)
3:25 "It's definitely a statement piece"
"What's the statement?"
"Check out my necklace!"
lol I died
i feel bad for the guy who did the jackets he started crying she said a kid could make that it takes hard work to do that
Ya I thought that was weird because I think those jackets are pretty af and I bet they are like 400 but if they are like 150 I might save up and try and buy one lol. But I will say I do appreciate the girl catching herself and going oh know you’re right I’m being disrespectful. Most people won’t even do that:/

The leaf piece is amazing and my favorite. The meaning behind the cleaning lady piece is beautiful. I also liked the clothes. I hope you guys do more of these with different artists.
That are also my two favourite meanings
Those were my favorites too!
Ok
I loved the leaf piece as well. I instantly had a feeling it was done by the Asian woman, and that look of “Excuse me...?” at 5:16 in response to the woman’s comment was confirmation.
I appreciate that Cut recognizes all mediums of art and not just painting
I was so excited when the necklace came out. Since I work with wire and metal jewelry
the photo processed on the leaf is incredible and a true work of art
Agreed.
YANZA YAN yes agree x2
And noone even addressed it or completely acknowledged it ... I WANTED MORE DETAILS
ain't that hard to make tho
i dunno about it being a "work of art" but it is interesting how the process works.
My heart goes out to the artists. All their pieces were amazing. I don’t know why these people were so insensitive
Um...maybe because they're asked a question and had to give an answer? Blame the people who came up with the questions.
When are we gonna be matching the Spotify playlist to the person??? I’ve been waiting for months lol
Omg yes

It doesn’t seem like they “don’t give af” they just don’t know a lot about art. I don’t think any of them were being offensive on purpose
It was painfully obvious that the girl with the shaved head made the 1st one, how did y'all not get that
thats all i could think

2:37 "I don't like to see somebody cleaning"
Right then, and THIS my dear, is why she painted it.
Her saying that made me kind of mad. Such a shallow thing to say. Art is not just made to be pretty, you know.
Exactly. It made me mad. I know a lot of people who clean for a living, usually ones that don't have money for college so they didn't get to go to college.
I almost feel like her comment was personally charged, like based on what she's experienced with cleaning and stuff.
i think yall are making it way too deep tbh... she probably doesn't like being reminded of cleaning because it's a chore to her and when she wants to relax she doesn't want to be reminded of chores
@Don’t Panic I think it’s kinda shallow to say what she said was shallow cause she may just not like chores and cleaning. It’s just her preferanceI doubt it’s that deep.

I really wish Cut had included the social media or websites for the artists so those of us who liked their work could buy it or something
10:12 made me cry, I thought the coat looked stunning and expressed a lot of creativity but instead of being praised he was insulted :(
It was the producers fault for asking the question in the first place there is no way to answer the question without sounding rude (no hate btw)

They really should've put the artists' handles or shops or something in the description so we could check out their stuff
I feel like some of them weren’t very respectful
wut? ._.
i’d like to see you in a situation like that. you want to guess it right and you dont know the people so literally the only option is to stereotype people...
@@sadfghjgfdsa4601 I feel like their comments towards the peices were kinda disrespectful, they just didnt seem like they cared at all with trying to be respectful. They just blurted out everything that came to mind, whether if it was harsh or not.
okay, most of them would be that one person who'd be like "can you draw me?"
copy and pasting, and cutting what I said on a different comment cuz its lazy time come grab ur friends
Most of the time, they weren't even trying to be nice about the creativity and work that went into the artists' efforts. Statements like, "Were you taking drugs while doing this", "No, it's creepy", "This is about family", "This looks like a kid made it", and more are just taking stereotypes and being inconsiderate. Dude these are rude remarks (even if they are just slightly mean) that can hurt people's feelings.
Though yes, I do understand these people are most likely not artists themselves and cannot express their thoughts without coming off hurtful and misinterpret-ful towards others. So whilst I do acknowledge where they, things can still come off wounding.

@@tonipope3164 i'd see it as a compliment tbh, drawing like a kid is one of the hardest things to do since most people lose the connection to their childhood
Why did I cry when the girl in the red jacket explained the painting of her mother? 😭A lot of parents immigrate in the first place to give their children a better life than they had back home and so a lot of them end up doing the lower-paid jobs that most people don't want to do to support that dream. The fact that she is proud of her mother and isn't ashamed of what she does is very commendable and I'm sure her mother would be happy to know how proud her daughter is of her ❤️

SO true. Was looking through the comments just to checkt if I am the only one, who thought it was sooo obvious... XD
I might have actually enjoyed the art piece had it not looked so low effort. It looks like she made it for the sake of reaction. Like "Oh look at how edgy and 'against-the-patriarchy' it is". She made it for shock value is all I'm saying.
"I've been making art for a long time and it hasn't gotten me anywhere so now I like to watch TV" is so RAW
