I'm loving herrrr
I feel like the leaf and the one who painted her mom didn’t get enough credit at all
Right? That one was my favorite honestly. :')
The Honduran girl has such a talent❤
@Ellie Oh D ok
off topic, but I turned this comment to 1000 likes
The mom one was my favorite!
Girl from Honduras talking about her mom being ashamed of working as a housecleaner made me really sad and tear up a bit. There is no shame in being a hard worker and doing what what you need to do to take care of your family. I think its really sweet how she depicted her mom in that piece.
it was such a wonderful piece !! the colours were so moving 🥺 30 years house working ! that’s real hard work and dedication for ur children and family. every ones role in society is important. i hate when people treat others less than bc they believe ppl are scaled :/
My parent did the same but we were never taught to look at it as something embarrassing we saw it as a blessing to have income in this beautiful country.
it was my favourite peice
When she said that she colored her gold because she not embarrassed about her mom just made me start crying immediately, liked omg 🥺😢
I agree my mom is a housekeeper also and I absolutely loved her piece. It’s personal. I can just feel her personal pain.

I think this could have been done so much better if they invited art enthusiasts or other professionals to guess, who would really appreciate each piece and could give the audience actual meaningful interpretations or insight about the art, rather than just random meaningless first impressions that were a lot of the time, insulting and insensitive. this had a lot of potential but just inviting the right people would have made the video so much more meaningful.
Exactly! As an artist myself I've felt really uncomfortable with their comments. It's ok if you don't like a piece of art, but at least try to acknowledge the effort made by the artists
100% agree
“There no deep meaning to this” was something that bothered me a lot.
Well who exactly is art for? As an art student myself I get enough of the art world circle jerk and it's actually refreshing to see regular people give a non pretentious interpretation of art once in a while

Have you ever seen “art school confidential”? There is a chick that makes a piece that’s just a tampon sitting in a teacup and the teacher LOVES it, and it cracked me TF up, bc I both think the art world is SUCH bullshit after being inside it, but I am also basically that buzzcut tampon girl in this video! 🤣🤷♀️

Thank you so much, youd think at least their handles would be put in the bio, they got done dirty 🤷
it annoys me so much when people say “they must’ve made this on drugs” or “they must’ve made this while drunk”. Idk if it’s just me but it irritates me so much because it’s just they’re art style when they probably made it at home normally.
I mean if I remember correctly 2 or 3 artist did admit to taking. And was part of there inspiration.
bothers me too. i think it's just an attempt at being "funny" but it's like what's the joke? that art is outlandish? it's a painting haha
It doesn't really annoy me much because i know of a lot of artists who say they are high or on drugs while doing art. Normally when i saw sumn someone made in my class and it was kinda gnarly, i asked them about how they made it and they admitted to being on drugs when they did it
I don't mind it, personally.
I take it more like a joke, in a "you really used your imagination in this piece" kind of way.
I literally just commented on this subject so thank you

Yesss if anyone finds her I would love to see her work
Sorry but these people didn’t truly appreciate the art in my opinion. I think they leaned to much on what they like and not what art can be. Art can be anything, and these show each artists passion in their own way. Cut, PLEASE LINK THE ARTISTS MEDIA.
And the people reacting to it also interpreted someone else's passion their own way. You can't expect anyone to appreciate anything, not all art is meant to appeal to everyone. People are gonna have subjective opinions. If art can be expressed any way, anyone can interpret it any way just as fairly. To an extent some definitely dogged on some pieces a bit too much but it really doesn't matter.
and yes they better link the artist's media
It's just a video. Some people just don't find art to be that deep sometimes
It’s fine to not appreciate or like the art
You can't force someone to react a certain way
People who aren’t passionate about art most likely can’t truly and deeply appreciate artworks.

i feel bad for the guy who did the jackets he started crying she said a kid could make that it takes hard work to do that

it was so easy to guess that the woman with the buzzcut made the tampon thing. she has the exact vibe of the type of person that makes a bunch of period related art lmao

... y’all couldn’t have people on who atleast gave af and respected the art and artists
It doesn’t seem like they “don’t give af” they just don’t know a lot about art. I don’t think any of them were being offensive on purpose
My heart goes out to the artists. All their pieces were amazing. I don’t know why these people were so insensitive
Um...maybe because they're asked a question and had to give an answer? Blame the people who came up with the questions.
Ok but let’s talk about the cleaning lady photograph that was criminally underrated...

Hey cut considering art and artists are already one of if not the most overlooked career or skill the least you can do is support small artist by tagging their social medias in your video.
This video was fun but I really dislike that they ask the question "which one do you think a kid could make?" because the only result from that was someone was going to be insulted, also that man's jackets where awesome and hes doing great
i agree, they shouldn't have asked that because it'll just make the artist feel awful. It was the producer's fault with asking that question. But almost everyone is blaming the woman instead of the producer.
I agree!! There are some things that are just rude and disrespectful to ask. But to be honest art is a really personal topic, especially when they are talking about your art, so in reality everything thing they said could've been unintentionally rude to one of the artists.
