We just got one of these for our flock of 14 and Im SO glad we invested in a well built, sturdy, built to last coop. Everyone complaining about the price are just ignorant to that fact of how WELL made this is and also how EASILY put together it is, saved me ALOT of work and time if I were to build my own. People seem to forget that people put in hard work into their businesses, and if I can give my money to a hard working small business owning American VS a piece of crap flimsy china built coop.. I’m going with AMERICA.
If anyone is interested in coop plans the greatest results that ive ever had was by following the Coop Magic Tactic (i found it on google) definately the most useful course i've followed.
Really nice chicken coop! The hens will love it! My only suggestion would be to put hard wire cloth over the screens in your chicken cool windows because it wouldn’t be hard for a raccoon or something to chew through the screen. I would know from experience because that’s how we lost some of our hens:(
Thanks for the suggestion! The only predator we have are skunks, so we are making sure we secure the chicken run on the bottom. We don't have raccoons here :D
The ceiling is not insulated , it has a coating to prevent condensation and sound dampening being a metal roof .. and the floor has a resin coating to resist force on moisture ..
Just watched your video as I was searching for info on coops. I have to say, there are some really not nice people here in the comments section. I wonder if any of them provide review videos or offer anything more than virulent commentary. Thanks for taking the time to make this video and post it. It was helpful.
YES!!!!! I love your Hens new home!!!!! Unfortunately, I live in a neighborhood and there are zoning laws. I just do think that zoning laws need to exist at all, I don’t understand. Can you make a video to help me understand a little bit more if you can. (I am a child so please don’t think that I know why they exist)
My county doesn’t allow chickens either, but I said “forget that” and we have them anyways. My neighbors have never complained, but if they ever did, I’d just bribe them with free eggs.
I just purchased a medium OverEz Coop- should be here in a bit. Any tips since you've had it for awhile on preparing it? Did you paint the coop on the inside? I'm thinking about getting some flat, rubber shoe trays to put under the roosting bars to catch poop. I'm so excited. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Awesome chicken coop! We have 6 chickens but even the smallest coop costs more than a month of mortgage. 😱 Nothing beats DIY coops though. If I had the cash, I would totally buy it!
Coop looks good. Nice job. Are there any problems that pop up, and how is it holding up since you first started using it? Thanks, I love your videos so much.
Nice coop. But, I don’t understand why they’re all $799+. That’s crazy. You can buy a used (or new) shed for less, a bit of tinkering and you’d have a coop for way less.
These coups are made to last, they are not factory produced with the cheapest material. They are handmade by Amish carpenters. Yes you can definitely go to amazon and get something much cheaper. I have a couple of those amazon coops and let me tell you, they are difficult to clean, impossible to get into, extremely small, wobbly and do no protect your animals from potential predators. You can get one of those coops and you will be lucky if it lasts you the year, or you can invest in a real coop like this, that will be standing for many years. You get what you pay for.
Happy Tails Woah! I didn’t so much as suggest for anyone to buy prefab coops? Sheds in England must be very different to sheds where you live. A shed is typically a sound wooden structure. Not a prefab coop. I usually by mine from an infamous British DIY store, called B&Q. I add ventilation, roosts, some home made nest boxes and a pop door. Mine last perfectly fine. $799 currently correlates to £611. Seriously unreasonable for a coop when you can very simply modify a shed for less. A 10x8ft shed (costing £447) at B&Q can hold 20 chickens (when giving them 4sqft per). You can buy paint, safe vents and a pre-made pop door for under £500.
Happy Tails I have to disagree, especially when there are better, cheaper alternatives. But yes, if you have plenty to spend, go and throw $799 on a coop for 5 chickens.
I'd be careful with a coop like that. If the ramp isn't secured properly it can fall and potentially hurt one of your hens. I'd also recommend predator-proofing the coop in the event a fox or badger decides it's hungry and wants Chick-Fil-A for dinner.
The ramp is secure. And if by some miracle a fox or badger shows up I'll let you know. I don't understand why people think that their problems must be the same for every person in the world.
@@HappyTailsAnimals im not confused. One of my friends has a coop similar to this one and last spring 4 of her hens and a rooster were killed cause a fox got in.
@@HappyTailsAnimals look, i'm just trying to be helpful. If you dont want the advice, simply dont reply or say "thanks but no thanks". There are better ways to tell someone "i dont want your advice."
I just see too many design errors. The chicken door is too low, so you can't do the deep bedding method. There is no window on the back side so there won't be any cross breeze. The screens on the windows aren't critter proof. The long single door makes cleaning it out harder. A double door or a horizontal door would have been better.
Not at all. I use deep litter ever winter and it works perfectly fine. Our summers are around 110 degrees and the windows help keep it cool. We had an issue with a raccoon and he was not able to get in through the window. They are easy to clean out, takes about 10 minutes to completely empty.
@@HappyTailsAnimals i find that a clean out with a shop vacuum is so much easier that a shovel and bucket. just remove the inside filter on the vacuum.
Honestly I could care less for the coop. I just came here because the unbelievably cute, adorable, beautiful, sexy lady in the thumbnail. SO NOT disappointed. Made my heart skip a few beats.

That is so pretty. I love how they designed the chicken door with the handle to hold it in place. Your chickens and ducks will be so happy.
yes they are going to be very comfortable in their new home

New business venture for you.

I totally love this coup. I really want this coop for all my Hens
Cute....the grl is nice too. How does it handle tropical weather? Downpours?
Your animals are so well taken care of! They are so lucky to have you❤️

Zoning laws are different in every city. You should ask someone to help you look up yours. Sometimes chickens are allowed if you have only hens.
Happy Tails Ok, thanks!

Can you please do a video about cleaning your chicken coop?

do you have to go in to open the windows
Coop looks good. Nice job. Are there any problems that pop up, and how is it holding up since you first started using it? Thanks, I love your videos so much.
It's been great! No changes since I got it. It's a safe place for my hens. Now that its warm I opened the windows. I love it
This is so cool
I love that red shirt you have on. Would love to have one. Guess you don’t have that tee shirt anymore.
Yes I do, it's from over ez chicken coop
What’s it look like now after some years used?? Also what is the height inside for walk-in purposes ?
This makes me want chicken but I live in the 3rd floor of a block of flats. Xx
That coop is way bigger than it looks on the pictures!
Great coop, so jealous

I Love it
When a chicken coop is better than your room...
Just bought one of these. Without shipping and tax it’s $3199.99. How has yours held up?
Also more videos about chinchillas I really want one and going to try really hard to get one I made a PowerPoint about it maybe I can show u it once
What size is this? Large? Medium?
I have a shed and I’m going to convert it into a chicken coop
Is this coop available on Amazon?
Does this have an electrical hook up?
I'm getting water in mine. I'm so sad.
Will you make a video about guinea pigs please
Nice coop.

Lol I don't think you can compare this between countries, in that case. But still, for Americans this is a great investment

Similar? So you are comparing a completely different coop made by a completely different company? Very good logic there 😑

Let’s not hope that some of those chickens don’t become chicken nuggets...
