Honda ST 1300 - Ride to Eibsee, the clearest water in Bavaria?

A sunny Monday morning. While most of you sit in the office, we took the biker (Honda Pan European ST 1300) and drove south to the Alps. The route was Autobahn A96 towards the Sindelsdorf junction, Lake Kochelsee, Lake Walchensee, Garmisch-Patenkirchen and finally arrived at Lake Eibsee, which is located near the base station of Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain. Although the school holidays were already over, it was pretty full for a Monday. Bavaria is drowning in tourists. Seems to get more and more every year. No wonder the Austrians closed certain highways for non-locals on the weekends. Eibsee is a stunning lake with crystal clear water. The water temperature was around 17 degrees Celsius. so not to bad to take a refreshing swim.
