Be kind & be humble at all turns, especially when you think no one is looking/notices, because that will get you so much farther both in school and in your career. You’re going to get your “yes,” so just keep going🙏🏽
I really fw how Mark is always preaching and spreading motivation from time to time on the stream. Really helps alot personally going through college and hopefully it helps the kid viewers who grew up already heavy on social media to really go out and live life.

The road is long and there are many lessons to learn, but as long as you're receptive and open to change (changing yourself, your mind and your perception) - you will succeed. How long it takes depends on you! Remember that! It could be a day, or it could be 10 years, but YOU hold all the answers. Get out of your own way and "put that first brick down".
And i was there at the 1st DreamCon. I was real supportive and the experience was amazing. IDC how small it was the 1st time, It was a start. I support them since day 1. Cant wait til next month.

This is pretty similar to what Will Smith said about his dad in his book. During the summer he had Will and his brother build a large brick wall in front of his store. Both of them were like wtf and told him it was impossible like any kid would. This man wanted them to build a WHOLE ASS WALL like they were some day laborers you find at your local Home Depot. But every day they'd lay a few bricks after school until they finished it about a year later. They realized that their dad didn't really need that wall but wanted to teach them a lesson. He was teaching them that there was nothing that they couldn't do if they put their mind to it. When they shifted their focus from "building the WALL" to "laying bricks perfectly every day", it became easier for them. *The impossible became possible* This was probably his inspiration for his scene with Jaden in The Pursuit of Happiness - the one where he told him "don't ever let anyone tell you can't do something". This is the same for any goal that may seem impossible to achieve, just like Mark said. Focus on each step in pursuit of your goal and you'll be in a better place than you are today.
