At 8.30 the ducks made me smile. How could you not?
Let me chuckle at Keven and the rooster greeting each other. Then you and the goats are just chatting away. I love it! You are blessed to have not suffered much from the storm, just a sleepless night. Praying for those in your area.
Sarah, please don’t feel guilty, feel blessed and go help with clean up. You and your farm may have been spared because God knows you and Kevins hearts and you are needed to help those that sustained damage. Just pay it forward. 🌺 ❤️

I'm sooo glad you guys were kept safe from the storms. Sad to see your leaf-lettuce damaged, buy the things you saw on your short trip really puts things in perspective. Praise the Lord for sparing you and your homestead any serious damage. God bless.
What a blessing to have prepared ahead of time with the building of your storm shelter. Great to hear your animals and most of your plants did OK but it's also sad that there was loss of life. Hopefully the worst of this storm system is past and that tonight will be calmer.

Mother nature and her fury. So, so glad you were spared any damage. I prayed for you and others in the area. The isolation that these storms have caused is sad. Just another reason to prepare and be good to your neighbors.

You guys should add small pond for the ducks to swim in even when it's no rainy! My grandparents have ducks, they dug a hole and laid black plastic in the hole and surrounded it with rock, the ducks love it!

I'd thought the storm shelter was unnecessary, but it's obviously a good thing to have. So glad you had one, even if this time, it was only for comfort. Such a relief too that all your animals are okay, especially those extra happy duck. Except for the hail damage, the plants will be happy with the extra rain and more sun.
When I first moved to the Pacific Northwest I was surprised to learn that ducks don't like the rain. I still can't see it. They come out when it's raining or sunny. And yeah, they are so much fun to watch.

Takes me back about 35 years, having a 2 story home with my sister and her family in Umpqua, OR. in the mountains and forest and with a creek. We grew vegetables, fruit, had a horse called Danny boy, cow, goat, lambs, rabbit lots of chicken with a crazy rooster, geese, and ducks, beside dogs and cats and all the wild animal's. Enjoyed your video much and glad all this good. Have a great Palm Sunday and maybe with some prayers my wife and I will be able to buy a home in Ozark this year. Take care.

You both look too good for people that were in and out of a tornado shelter! So glad you're greenhouse wasn't damaged. All your baby plants! We had just part of a tree come down recently and it caused damage to fence, compost bin, mini chicken coop, and our tiny 4x6 greenhouse. It just landed in a bad spot. Wind is NOT my thing! Keep on keeping on. Love you - I recommend your channel to other homesteaders.

First time i ever heard of the Ozarks, that is a very nice green house. So you must be in the heart of tornado ally, i live in south Texas. We get tornadoes here to. I have always been afraid of tornadoes, i love the animals you have. I my self am a cat person, crazy to see trees like that blown over.
So glad to hear y'all are okay, and didn't suffer any major damage on your homestead. The last week has been very wet here in our neck of Oklahoma. Lots of severe weather, and flooding. Thank goodness for tornado shelters.
We have just finished up the last of the damage yesterday from a F0 tornado that came through our yard last July. We had created a food forest with huge upper story trees as the foundation. We no longer have any large trees and the root base on the Sycamore weighted in at 16,000 lbs giving you and idea of how large that particular tree was. We also lost 9 fruit trees. It's taken time, but we have since created a beautiful permaculture garden where there once was shade. Our motto is "There are no problems, only solutions". So glad you didn't suffer any damage.
Glad to see you and family are fine. Storm shelters are wonderful and highly recommended. They are a blessing in times of severe wind also, those trees can come down without a tornado. Nice seeing the tomatoe delivery and meeting a new friend. God bless
When the ground is saturated with rain it doesn't take a tornado to uproot trees. Tornados can't snap the tree and leave the stumps in the ground. Stronger construction really helps prevent damage to buildings. I'll always remember the tornado that hit Joplin a few years ago. Virtually nothing can protect against that type of storm.

You'd be surprised when the ground is saturated from rain it really doesn't take that much wind to knock down some big trees. Glad everything is okay on your farm!:)
The ducks are too funny. It was like they were hollering, "it's about time you let us out, took ya long enough" lol

I live here in Wagoner Oklahoma that system that moved through y'all's area came through here first. We had some structural damages tornado crossing the highway about a mile from me but mostly tearing up pasture land. All in all nothing too serious other than a fatality due to high water and a car being washed off down the Creek. We got a saying here Stop 4 running water turn around don't drown. hope more people take that advice. I hear we got another round coming through today hope all is well for everyone

We had some severe weather and flooding in Eldon, MO. 2 holes in the greenhouse, all the topsoil in our lower garden was washed out. Some of the mustard greens got pretty beat up but no serious losses in glad to see yall are fine and blessed.
