giving heavy a diet rocket launcher is an awful idea.

@@TKsh1 the limited range on the AA cannon really works wonders on snipers
it is surprisingly well balanced. also snipers.
Everyone was so quick to label it overpowered on release, when honestly... you could quickly tell it would suck ass against multiple targets unless they're clumped together. Especially if said classes are fairly mobile too. You're still very vulnerable to both spies and snipers as well. If anything : it just appeared broken because the Heavy never got anything that truly shook up his gameplay. The overall DPS is also worse, meaning you might struggle a bit more to take down stronger classes at closer ranges.
... Airborne minicrits are stupidly fun to pull and a little bullshit to deal with though, I'll give you that.

100 ping isn't the worst, tbh. I can play fighting games with that fairly smoothly. Although, that's mostly because no one wants to hook up an Ethernet cable to play a game where a 1 frame difference actually matters.
God i love how games now just show if the connection is wired or not so you can fucking reject them if it isn't.

I want to see a team move forward towards the first point without resistance, then the sound of a dozen air raid sirens ramp up to blaring levels as the heavies exit the room by the point.
As a frequent TF2C player this gun is busted if used right imo.

@@xmosphere Yeah it did, Close range the minigun is better but range is always super powerful because you can pick your fights so much easier.

Of course it's busted overpowered. Heavy is meant for close range encounters with medium distance drop-off. At far distance he's a joke. If you give him a fucking aoe gun that shits out damage at medium range with no damage falloff (only range limit) then suddenly he's threatening to everyone on the roster even sometimes snipers.
This gun would be a better idea for someone like Soldier or Demo

Idk if its a balanced weapon but it definitely has a cool design
It has a maximum range so it makes you wanna get closer to enemies but it also has a bit of a minimum range cause you really dont wanna take self dmg from this, its definitely a cool weapon that rewards good positioning
Heres an idea of the custom weapon: a spy pistol that does -75% dmg but has the sniper’s laser. That way a cloaked spy can sit in a corner and give people heart attacks
