The real benefit to using this glitch over a Rock Octorok is that you can repair any of the Legendary weapons. No need to see Pelison anymore; and if ya somehow put a modifier on a legendary and don’t wanna get rid of it this is a good solution to use
@beans-t1h No they do not, or any of the weapons with the “Legendary” status when collected. They’ll hace a white shine over the weapon image when you get their weapon text box
Nice! I was able to get a Scimitar of the Seven with +10 attack up with full durability now! Time to do this for the Biggoron's Sword and Lightscale Trident since those 3 have the most durability out of every other weapon (if you force an upgrade on those 3 you lose out on quite a bit of durability)
This is genius and so dumb at the same time, tho, if it respawn an enemy how does it keep it's weapon ? Do the game just save which weapon an enemy has even if the enemy isn't loaded ?
well you're not getting far enough away to fully despawn the enemy which would set it back to its default weapon, so I would assume the gloom hands like half despawn the enemy? Just enough to reset the durability of the weapon but not enough to fully reset it? I'm not entirely sure

Rhymed.😅 and shock lizalfos suck donkey nuts^ steal GT gear aka god tear(tier) gear, kill u so it despawns the gear.😤
I'm guessing it's similar to the distinction between an object being unloaded vs deactivated; when an enemy is deactivated, it keeps many properties, for example in SM64 scuttlebugs will still turn toward their home and run the cooldown for their jump action when deactivated, allowing Panen to make them jump to ridiculous heights
Enemies grt culled while gloom hands are active, and once they're defeated, the enemies get reset, and the devs didn't specify to not reset the health of weapons
The best use of this glitch is after upgrading a weapon with wst. Weapon stat transfer affects durability after all, so now I can have a full durability atk up scimitar of the seven!
I'm still on OG totk, but I had something interesting happen in a shrine. I was doing mayatat, a sliding device, and had some fun yeeting myself off the sled somehow? I was sliding on the sand, got to max speed with 1 fan, and canceled control/jumped right before hitting the ledge in front of the area where you get your orb. This threw me across the platform at a decent speed until I hit a pillar. Have you heard of this before?
Light scale trident in my opinion. It has a base damage of 22. Add a 10+ damage modifier to it via a weapon stat transfer glitch to make it 32 damage. Fuse a molduga jaw onto it, making it 64. Wear either the full radiant armor set or the phantom Ganon set, all at level 2 at least. This brings it up to 115 damage. Get the wet status using Sidon or the rain to finally make it 230 damage. Alternatively, do everything again except without the radiant armor, and replace the molduga jaw with a frost gleeok horn. Now every 2 hits, you’ll do 504 damage or 252 damage per hit on average, on freezable enemies. A close second is the scimitar of the seven as it has similar stats to the lightscale trident with similar methods. Then third would be the great eagle bow. It has a base damage of 28 and fires 3 shots, making it 84 damage total. The savage lynel bow on the other hand does 32 damage and fires 5 shots with the 5 shot modifier, making it do 160 damage total. With the savage lynel bow existing, why would you ever use the great eagle bow? With the weapon stat transfer method, you are able to give the great eagle bow a 5 shot modifier too, bringing it up to 140 damage. Even then, it’s less than the savage lynel bow and far less accessible than it in normal cases. However, the savage lynel bow has a range of 20, whereas the great eagle bow has a range of 40. The savage lynel bow is also prone to attracting lightning, whereas the eagle bow, not. The savage lynel bow also has a normal draw speed of 1, whereas the eagle bow has a draw speed of 1.8 (for reference, quick shot improves speed by 1.1-1.3, and the Royal guard’s bow has a draw speed of 1.5). The savage lynel bow also has a durability of 45, whereas the eagle bow has a durability of 60, the highest in the game for bows. Regarding accessibility, there is an easy way to repair and stat transfer bows using a simple glitch involving mineru that takes about 1 minute to execute once you get the hang of it. You just need to ensure you carry around 1 unused donor bow with a maximum durability of 60 and a 5 shot modifier. With this, you can repair any bow to max while also giving them a 5 shot modifier. This resolves the accessibility problem of the great eagle bow. Considering all of this, it makes the great eagle bow definitely worth having despite already having tons of savage lynel bows. As for the boulder breaker, it kinda sucks. Even using bone weapon proficiency with molduga jaw and giving it a 10+ attack modifier, the max damage you get from it is 144. Compared to scimitar of the seven’s 183 and light scale trident’s 230, that’s a very subpar number. Not only that, the lightscale trident has a max durability of 70, scimitar 60, whereas the boulder breaker has a mere 40 durability. The boulder breaker also doesn’t have any other special effects other than being able to break rocks or deal 1.5 more damage to ore type enemies like taluses.
Do Rocktorocks repair half damaged weapons in BotW or is it only in TotK? I once tried to throw "badly damaged" weapon to RockTorock but it spit it rightaway out without the "chewing" and it broke after hitting ground... So, I suppose not?

@ omg! That is awesome! If I were to do that one other glitch to upgrade the master sword, but use other unmoddable weapons, it can be so awesome! I learned that while it does transfer a lot of data from weapon to weapon, it also does max durability. If you transferred a soldiers broadsword with 17 durability to the master sword, it would keep all: modifier, fused item, and durability, which could be sad for all the weapons you want to upgrade. But now with this, I can have fully durable unmodified weapons that are moldable too! Example: great eagle bow with 5 shot burst has a durability of 60. Now I can!!
Yeah I struggled with it a bit at first, I ended up trying it on a different weapon and using a speed up potion and it worked. So it could be something wrong with the weapon or it could require you to reach the gloom hands and get back quickly, I'm not entirely sure
@@caiugarrio9627 unfortunately I can't, Nintendo has very strict rules for content creators so I'm allowed to show off mods but if I teach people how to get them, Nintendo will have my channel taken down

@beans-t1h No they do not, or any of the weapons with the “Legendary” status when collected. They’ll hace a white shine over the weapon image when you get their weapon text box

There is a way to spawn a blood moon early and it seems fairly easy. You just need a bow and some opals. I think Beard Bear covered a video on it
