      Thanks for the comment Matt, and for watching. I continue to watch with interest the progress with your 200Vi as you get far more involved in the mechanicals than me... well done! When it's done give me a shout and we can meet up as I do have a parcel shelf for you. Thanks for the support.

    No bad going for a car of that age. Glad you kept both, they are far too rare now to break them for parts.

      Thanks for the comment - the 200Vi did really well on the drive up and back. Not sure when I'll get around to sorting the R-reg Vi, but I'll continue enjoying the V-reg one for now. Thanks for watching.

      Thanks for the comment - always good to hear from someone who previously owned a Vi and / or BRM! They are great fun and rare, but they do come up for sale from time to time so have a look and maybe you can get back into one in the future. Thanks for watching.

      Thanks so much for the comment, glad to know you enjoyed it. 'Roverdosed' is a term we use a lot in our house... albeit I'm not sure you can have too many really. Thanks for watching and for the support.

    I have a R25 1.6IS 2door with 9.5k miles which is quite nippy & drives great and looks very pretty with Gti spec wheels. I got the clock/display refurbished for £20 so I can use the original fitted radio/cassette, love the Vi’s and 25 Gti’s keeping my eye out for one I’m no so keen on the BRM interior it’s bit Marmite for me. Looking forward to more videos on your Vi’s.. I have an MGF in the HAM it is a great colour 👍.

      Thanks for the comment Michael. Your Rover 25 sounds amazing with such low miles, and the MGF is already a classic to be treasured in my eyes (I own an MGF Trophy 160 in Trophy Yellow and cannot see myself parting with it). Do check out my other videos, if you haven't already, as you'll see the MGF and my Rover 25 GTi which needs a bit of restoration, but still starts, runs and drives nicely. Thanks for watching and look forward to hearing from you again on future videos.

    Apparently over 80% of the MG Z cars aren’t on the road anymore which is sad really. They’re definitely getting rarer now I’ve not seen another one “in the wild” since I got my ZR last month except a silver 25 that parks nearby every now and then

      Thanks for the comment. Seems it does not take long for a particular model of car to vanish all at once and it appears to have now happened to the MG Z cars, which were commonplace on our roads just a few years ago. It certainly is a shame, but there are lots of cars now in the ownership of enthusiasts so we'll get to see them at car meets, shows and other events. Thanks for watching.

    K series engines- worst ever

    • @cornishcarcollectors
      @cornishcarcollectors  Год назад

      Thanks for the comment... but I can't agree with you, sorry. The K-Series is a fantastic little engine, it is very clever and nice and revy. They have a bad reputation for head gasket failure, but well maintained engines do not have the problems and, if they do go, a decent repair returns the engine to the reliable and fun to drive unit it is. Welcome your thoughts and thanks for watching.
