That battle is one of the best things that happened in Russian hip-hop culture. Battle rap was the most popular thing in Russia back in 2015-2017. Slava became very popular, Oxxxymiron had a sold out concert on biggest Russian stadium. But after that battle, battle rap didn’t get this much hype and such talented rappers as these two and couple others. As Slava said in the third round - “Battle rap is dead”. And that was the prophecy.

When this battle came out in 2017 I was a huge fan of oxxxy, I basically grew up on his tracks, so I couldn’t accept the fact that Slava won, but through time it’s obvious that this was a murder by slava, I couldn’t even imagine how oxxxy recovered from this, because recently we all found out that oxxxy is actually soft himself and got a lot of complexes from childhood and from assault that happens in 2011 when he was slapped, and also I realised that he actually betrayed his partner back then, so a lot of staff that Slava said here I couldn’t even believe it and accept back then, but it happened to be sad true, especially about oxxxy’s enormous ego

The thing about the battle is like there is a stadium rapper who wins all his battles, the father of battlerap these times, comes to fight an ordinary guy like a guy from your block. This is why crowd reacts like this, they see how their buddy literally destroy a russian battlerap invincible titanium, and thats why they cheer for Slava so much. This is not like Oxxy came to battle being outsider, here is the opposite.

damn dude when i say i was waiting for your reaction to this battle i actually WAS WAITING you know, cause i was looking forward to what you were gonna say about Slava, cause he is indeed one of the greatest figures in russian battle rap and i think to this day that Miron kiiiinda underestimated his opponent and Slava just fucking killed him honestly. i love the dynamic between the two of them, they actually do have history with each other, well it’s more like Slava has history with Oxxxy, he was a fan of his from the very beginning, he loves Oxxxy’s very first battle rap performances and his first music album and the mixtape, but Miron disappointed Slava with his second album and shit goes from there. anyway man i’m so happy you finally watched this battle! it’s such a pity there was no translation in the end, Miron told Slava that this battle is “historical shit” and it indeed is!
