Sad even though im a Celtic fan to look back on this and see how Scottish football is pale in comparison. Rangers have foundered.I genuinely hope they get back to competing at this level with Aberdeen and Dundee utd also and i hope Celtic can see the way things are going and keep their heads above water in Europe.Otherwise our game is really dying..The three biggest football stadiums in the world at one time where in the one city..Glasgow,Scotland.
Even though I'm a Rangers fan, I've always liked to see Celtic do well in Europe if for no other reason it's good for the league cause it means more teams can to compete in Europe, a little bit more money, little bit more quality in their squads etc. Even though it might be bad for the National team (but since 1998, how could things be worse?), I still would have liked to have seen Celtic and Rangers in the EPL. Maybe not 1st season, but within 3 one of the them would have made the top 4, easy.
Was this the game that Souness asked for the pitch to be narrowed because he knew that the Soviet opposite liked to play wide on the wings, so that we could batter them through the middle?
Dynamo game what a night never heard ibrox like it before or since couldn’t hear a thing for a few hours after the game..this was special night in a special season .stevie should show these games to the current team we are the people we are Rangers
