Many people facing problem with bluetooth connection. After few months it just stops working. Did lot of research tried all tricks recommended but no luck
Another user had his fixed and it was one of the boards that failed and had to be replaced. probably the issue with everyone's I'm sure. LG charged a high price for these speakers and built them with sub standard quality.
Your unboxing was a features-oriented review, but you never indicated how the system sounded at all. What is the point of an unboxing without your opinions on the quality of the unit? This is the most important part! How did the 3.1 soundbar sound? What about the bass?
It was mostly the unboxing and setup. I had tried playing music through it and recording it, but it was flagged for copyright so I removed it. As I had just unboxed it, I thought it best to not make quick judgements on the build of it until I've seen how well it held up over time. I'm sure I mentioned in the video that it did have a plastic-y look/feel to the sound bar, which I personally didn't like. As for the sound, that's purely subjective from person to person. My previous speakers were "mid-range" quality speakers that cost almost $3k, so for me to judge the sound from this sound bar wouldn't really be doing it justice since I would potentially be biased from my years of having the expensive speakers. These speakers are basically "entry-level" speakers. Even my expensive speakers wouldn't hold a candle to true, high quality, audiophile level speakers and compared to those, mine would sound crappy. If you set your expectations to what you're paying for, then yes, I would say the sound output for that price of a sound bar sounds good. If you try to compare it to much more expensive "tower style" speakers, then I would have to say they sound like crap. But again, that wouldn't be a fair comparison since the costs, build, design, speaker size, etc... would vary greatly. So for the price of the sound bar, the sound quality and the bass level is acceptable, but don't expect all wall shaking bass from it. It won't blow anyone away with amazing sounds, but again, it's only a $400 3.1 sound bar. If you're someone that just wants the best, absolute sound from a sound system, then in my humble opinion, you don't want a sound bar, you want "real" speakers run through a receiver. These are great for looks and compact size, but you sacrifice a lot of sound quality to get it in such a small package. If you want something that just sound better than TV speakers, then these would work great for that. I hope that helped?
Yea originally I did record it playing music but it was flagged for copyright so I removed it. But the recording would have been limited by the camera mic anyways, so it probably would not have been an accurate sound reproduction.
I have this exact model. Good soundbar but the problem I have is the subwoofer will disconnect and connect often. It's very annoying. Go from perfect audio to not so much in seconds and then perfect audio again. It does it often.
I haven't experienced that issue with mine. Might be worth calling lg about. Hopefully it's something simple like moving the subwoofer to a new spot or unpairing and re-pairing it again.

Hello there mate, great video, straight to the point! Quick question for you though. Do you know what’s the difference between the SN6 and the SN6Y model ? If you do plz let me know. Regardless, very helpful video!!
Spec wise, they appear to be identical. Most companies will brand different model name/numbers to identical products, depending on the market they are sold in. So it's likely that they are the same product, but the sn6y is for the USA market and sn6 is for a market in a different region.
Probably have to unpair the speaker from the device's Bluetooth. Bluetooth will connect automatically when it's in range of any device it's already paired with.
How does the left and right sound? Like with certain movies or games? Thinking about getting this instead of the 5.1. I like the look of this speaker more
