It’s been proven over and over it doesn’t work, all you do is create an environment where children believe it’s okay to use violence when they believe someone has done something wrong. There’s so many better options
There's diffrent types of discipline. It's not one or the other. You can be firm and make them understand right from wrong without even touching them. So I think Scott was right in that way, but they can definently be stricter.
