- The Motor Sich Lottery paid off recently when my planned Antonov An-24 flight from Lviv to Kiev was upgraded to a very rare type.

The destination airport is also known as Sikorsky International. It also is home to the Antonov Aviation Museum.
Near the airport is ukrainian aviation museum. Kyiv, Medova str, 1.
There you can see much of civil and military borts. Some of planes you can visit, for example tu154, mi8, mi26 etc
May you explain is there inside in the passanger cabin, the noise is lauder or littlebit silent compare to a 320 or 737?
@@ensignmdedynp9999 Much louder, actually. Initially this aircraft has been designed as polar cargo plane (thus its engines are situated upon the wing). The plane on a video is TK-200 modification - it can be easily converted from passenger to cargo in a short period of time, but it has some side effects. Only two planes is this modification have been built.
@@neKstpage I'm a pilot and as far I know, hi wing provide a better lift compare to low wing. And in my logic when you put the engine in the of fuselage and hi wing. That's will give a huge advantage in lift and stol. But I'm courious why the won't build on that design or take that design as major priority for producing. Is that the noise? Coz when I asking my senior instructor he give answer related to sound so that why I ask here and thanks for the answer. BTW, it possible for designer make it less noise from common narrow body? Such as a320 or 737
@@ensignmdedynp9999 as I know, there was an assumption, that Coanda effect will give an encrease to lifting force due to such instalation of engines (like Kawasaki QSTOL). Another reason - engine protection from snow and dust. All Antonov's huge cargo planes have high wing. But particulary in this case such design gives additional problems for engine maintanace, so they don't use it again.
@@neKstpage so the point is. The difficulties for maintenance forcing Antonov berau design for leaving the advantagesand benefit of that design. Wow that's to bad. Coz when I compared flying a hi to low wing. Is really pleasure for flare moment in landing with hi wing. And we're doesn't have any worries or less worries with engine strike.

I love the concept of this aircraft. It was built stronger, and it is embarked with an easier fetch capability due the main wing positioning that also assist with the air intake propablity being at a low possiblity of debri intake. I would Love to see the amphibious Model to this series. The Engineers did an excellent Job and I would like to congratulate them with high remarks on a noted item. However? I would like a fuselage emergency parachute deployment system to be installed on this craft for engine failure and non experience emergency pilotts for unplanned ordeals." 👍

Why are they puting flaps to 0 again after landing? They will need them again at next takeoff at 40 %.

после распада СССР Украина не смогла освоить самостоятельное массовое производство Ан-74. Небольшими партиями машины выпускались в кооперации с производственным объединением «Полёт» (Омск) до момента разрыва отношений с Россией по военно-технической линии в 2014 год
С 2012 года завод не получил ни одного государственного заказа и испытывает большие трудности с реализацией экспортных контрактов. С 2014 года компания не выпустила из сборочного цеха ни одного нового самолёта.
Самолёты конструкции Антонова никому, кроме России, не нужны, а международный рынок очень конкурентный, тем более в области военно-транспортной авиации. Украина сейчас вряд ли вообще что-либо может производить, а если и могла бы, то западные корпорации не станут делиться с ней долей своих рынков

СССР мог делать , твоя Украина была лишь производственной площадкой для этих дел , но это неудобная для тебя и тебе подобных - правда ,частью которой были и вы , но теперь вы отреклись от этого и стыдитесь этого....... За это и расплачиваетесь в том числе , нельзя быть предателями......

Fairy tails about "Ukrainian aviation"? Read about biography of Antonov, idiots... And try to translate "Чебурашка" - it's a Russian nickname especially for this bird. On the North Pole this airplane is excellent. 👍
