🎉 Celebrating 30 Years of Wellsprings for Women! 🎉
Join us as we reflect on three decades of empowering women in Dandenong and beyond:
🌟 Founded in 1994 by Sister Ann Halpin, Wellsprings for Women began as a welcoming place for isolated women, helping them connect, learn new skills, and improve their lives.
🌟 Over the years, we've grown to support thousands of women in Australia's most multicultural region, responding to their needs and advocating for better services.
🌟 During COVID, we quickly transitioned to online education, providing laptops and internet access to over 170 women, while also supplying emergency and food relief.
🌟 We've addressed gaps in family violence support, offering tailored approaches for migrant and refugee women.
🌟 As a unique blend of a Neighbourhood House, Learn Local, specialist family violence agency, and women-specific organization, we're committed to a safe and thriving society for women.
🌟 Between 1994 and 2024, we've delivered 364,261 student contact hours, supported over 12,000 women, contributed 150,000 volunteer hours, and held over 14,000 sessions and activities. Every dollar invested returns 4.8 times in social and economic value.
