I am newly introduced to carrom sport and some of the shots I saw for the first time. Very impressive what these people are doing!
U cannot hit coins on your sides two arrows
U cannot put the striker in half red and strike
U cannot hit backwards
For getting red coin u must first finish red and then another coin continuously
THESE ARE THE REAL RULES I KNOW
U may tell this is another way of playing or what but this the right base carromboard play this makes the play more complicated rather than hitting backward and without no base it becomes very easy for experienced players
So my opinion is base game is the right way to play

Rules and different on each state, each federations, We in kerala don't play base coin using thumb, and arrow lines touched coins cannot play directly, if we hit opponent coin then penalty coin to be placed, I know this is not international rule but i feel this is the best rule to play in the carrom.

As someone who practises these with fervour, i never figured out how to take that a shot from the moon when the other coin is abruptly on the left side very close that it's hard to cut it also. Impressive!

I like the slo-mo break replay you do. It would be really great if you could do a bit more on some of those fast pots and some subtitle commentary to explain the unusual shots (e.g. where it is not just a straight pot)

If you make a direct hit to opponent's coin its a foul.
No. If you physically touch any piece other than the striker it's a foul. He touched the piece while passing the striker back.

Few things I do not like or should be part of rule game
1. Backhand should be ruled out
2. Player should not be allowed to move seats
3. Hitting a coin on black circle on your side should be discouraged as well.
4. at the time of foul, extra coin should be touched the board only once by opponent (@2:40)
1. Thumb shots are legal. If it weren't, your opponent would put all coins in your side and further make it difficult.
2. Not a problem with that.

It's a great game I highly recommend it, especially good at bringing family together. You dont have to follow the official rules. One player puts all the coins of their colour and then the red one last, is the winner.
