To be honest, I'm kinda sick of the whole Amy and Jonah thing. There are already enough similarities to The Office with this show. They don't need to pull a Pam and Jim too.
Because most people now a days have kids with other people this bring in those type of situations no one likes to talk about instead of a fairy tale story like the one you want sometimes life happens. This will bring a new dynamic to tv. Seeing how Johnna handles it being a dad to a kid that is not his blood and how Adam will play out aswell into the story.
I love the whole pregnancy situation because most people have kids at there 20's and then later divorced. This is what real people go through and im going to love the way it plays out. Johnna loves Amy a pregnancy isn't going to make him lover her any less. The ups and downs are gonna be awesome to watch. Specially since Adam is still in the picture. I think it will just make Amy and Jonas relationship stronger
They definitely didn't need to write America's real pregnancy into the storyline. There are only a few episodes left and she's really not that big. She would've already had her baby by the time the new season starts.
THIS. Other shows have successfully hidden pregnancies for decades. And it's really not that hard to do. All they had to do was put her in baggier shirts for a few episodes, or give her props to hold, or just shoot her from the waist up. There were so many ways to avoid this stupid storyline.
There's a lot of people who didn't like the last few scenes, saying that there s too much drama and stuff. But, personally, I like the drama a little bit. Feel like it helps us connect with the characters even more. The last few episodes of season 3 allowed that to happen which was definitely a risk, but I think the show as a whole will benefit from that in the future. I found this interaction quite funny, actually. Probably because of the irony of it all. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the writers will bring things down to a simpler level again. I mean, if this kind of drama never happened in shows, they wouldn't be nearly as interesting.
