You know what they need to add? A port raid mode/event where you storm a guarded town and fort. Like that one scene in Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl.
That would be awesome, and maybe they could finally add baroque clothing 😍
They should have certain islands where players can build their own bases. I think that would be sick, and add a lot more variety to gameplay
@@jamesflick668 I have also thought similar things. Like if the people who have bought everything and still have millions to spare they could bury or lock up some of their gold and make their own quest with one of the factions so noobs could get a chunk after completing a custom voyage. Of course, the pirates making the quest for the noobs would get rewards like exclusive outfits and ship skins or weapons if the new player succeeds in completing their quest.
@@the_great_tigorian_channel Bad game design. If noobs get rewards for beating the quest and the people who design them get rewards when the noobs beat them, the designers of the quest would make it take 10 seconds to complete and be as easy as possible.

@@MotoEasyIce What type of cheaters have you come across? Im my now almost 2 years of active playing i have only come across skripters once. Unless you are talking about quick firing double gunning players, yeah they arent exactly cheating since hitreg in the game can be horrifying
More sea life would be great to, like Whales, dolphins, sharks and stingrays. Just to put a little touch on the open seas.
There are sharks and in pirate movies I didn't see dolphin's

Sea of thieves isn't blatantly copying everything from pirate movies, it is its own game.

Hey, this update is awesome looking but when do we get to gamble in tavern games or something? Stepping into a player populated tavern and sitting down to play a game of dice or cards for winnings in the other player's gold would do so much for the atmosphere of this game! They might get mad they lost and start a tavern brawl but that would still be epic to see two crews pull up a chair and have a short mini-game.
I think that would be cool but as that's gambling and the game is rated a 12 I don't see that happening sadly

@@charliemaline223 Pirates of the Caribbean online actually did have gambling for coins against other players, and that was rated 10+, however it was also 2007, so that was almost a different decade in terms of what they allowed in children’s games.
They had me at the coral curse, but it's the Jack-o-Looter set that's got my heart!

I went through the previous and current videos, side-by-side, and they both have the same clips, audio, visuals, everything. So this is quite peculiar. Maybe they slipped up with an incorrect pricing listing that needed to be changed.

I know the cutlass is like THE pirate weapon, but, could we get more melee weapons please? maybe a dagger or a rapier for fast but not as hard attacks compared to the cutlass and a big mace or hammer for slow but powerful attacks compared to the cutlass, it's mostly because im getting a bit bored of only having one melee weapon, while firearms you get three.
when I get that curse I'm never gonna even look at a sunken shrine, its not worth leaving your ship alone. Next season think about the fact that people dont want to loose everything because the game requires you to leave your ship open to attack, you should always be able to defend your ship, this new shrine removes that ability. The only time you should even think about a shrine is if you have a completely empty ship, no loot and no supplies.
Just go put Your ship inside Thieves haven and Get a rowboat to visit the Places, thats what ill do
@@dawipeach8948 uh..? Most of these are located 15-20 tiles out in the Wilds/Shores of plenty. Unless you only want to do 1/2 of them, I don’t recommend spending 5 years row-boating across the map from Thieves haven. :)

Your ship is still left completely unprotected, and like the other guy said, many of the vaults are a long row away, so rowing will leave you ship unprotected for a longer time, it may be hidden but it takes one hint of curiosity from another crew to find your ship. On top of that, some people still do thieves haven runs for their Athena.

This has been the Best Season yet for me! That Coral Curse looks amazing on my pirate along with the Davy Jones costume and the "It's Alive!" Makeup. The Siren Shrines were a blast to explore with all of their tricks and traps for me to find. But best of all, this will be the season when I finally reach PIRATE LEGEND! Now I'm anxious to see what else is in store for us in the future!

This is like my most wanted feature lol. It would be cool if you could stand on them and if your on their blowholes they act as geysers and send you flying
i'm... mixed about this season.... it could be really fun to go to deep of the sea but....... what about the other players? it will be more difficult to have an eyes on our ship... I know that it's a pirate game but... if you're not really good at pvp, it's just stressing and disheartening... even if the new quests are fun...
You could have 1 person on the ship keeping guard. If you do this solo then I guess it’s based on luck. I’ve done many today and haven’t got attacked once

this minecraft aquatic update looking good
Here's 10 things they need to add
1. Tortuga- barter and trade here with other players. Betting/ gambling games/ Target shooting games, Special missions etc. (Make it so you can't kill each other inside the building)
2. Storming small castles, fighting soldiers/ plunder
3. Horses for getting around quicker on large land levels
4. Harpooning whales for oil to sell.
5. Lobster diving for cooking
6. Tsunamis you have to sail head on into and over or get smashed up on the shore
7. Being able to man your own sloop and add players to your crew with each their own sloop. ( Imagine a 4 person team each with their own boat! )
8. Gear that let's you repel down cliff faces in order to get to caves with treasure you can't otherwise access.
9. Islands with different seasons. Like some snowy ice islands. Some desert etc
10. Growing crops, harvesting seeds, tilling soil, watering. ( Time lapsed quicker though) might as well plant seeds when you get to an island and let them grow while your digging up treasure then harvest before you leave.
#7 is already in the game lol

I am in love with this new update. I cannot wait for everything. I will have to put my Golden Curse on hold, because I need that Coral Curse. The new ship cosmetics look fantastic, and I cannot wait to get my pirates hand and hook on them. I cannot wait to see where the Sea of Thieves goes from here.

@@StarWuzerd yes and no. As someone also mentioned it's not like anything that costs money affects gameplay. Plus a majority of prizes in the seasons are free for all players and they make it so you can get ancient coins in game (it's rare but it's happened to me 5 times). In the end I think rare is being rather reasonable with it's fanbase unlike many other annoying game devs out there.

When are they gonna add wheelbarrows (or wagons) on islands or outposts so we can take all treasures to the ship or Merchants, in one go? I’m getting tired of pulling a row boat all the way on shore to the merchants.
They added treasure chests to make it easier for solo sloopers & the like who are impatient. Shoulda been here for the 1st year+ when it was take every single small item in by hand
literally just park your ship at the dock like a normal person
Bro Merchants are the easiest one of all to get to - just park your bowsprit past the dock and you can run straight off with a crate and sell in minutes

@@hurricanegriz8011 I've never spent 30+ mins turning in loot at any level 5 emissary. Solo or with others, so you're doing it wrong. The tension of turning loot in is a draw that would be eliminated with kiddie wagons in a pirate game 😄
I just started playing a couple months ago and have had so much fun with A Pirate’s Life! The Jack-O-Looter and Golden Nile cosmetics look awesome!

On another video there was a comment suggesting row boats. "I think the play here is that you hide your ship and row over on a row boat to the fort, do it, then pull your ship up and activate the merm to release the loot" not a bad idea

I respect the DEVs of this game so much. Game had a rough launch and was pretty much dead, but they didn't give up and they are still adding new content to this day and it's all free.
Well, you expect a game to continue to develop new content for free.... after you had to pay 40-60$ for it.....

Excellent update @Sea of Thieves development team, a very fresh experience with creative recycling of elements from the last update. Now this is what I like to see from Sea of Thieves, fun and interactive challenges that both reward you with new loot and delves deeper into the lore of the sea!

There wasnt enough QoL content to keep me going in this game sadly. I kept waiting but with naught but cosmetic updates and a few new forts, ive lost my drive.

If I knew they had rewards that I could earn at any time after they were made available then I would like the game waaaay more. For me, time limited things just makes me less interested in playing altogether.

I feel like this new content is cool an all but the stuff you actually do has always been fun, its just we don't have a reason to actually want to do it
Yea, to me, only tall talles are fun to play, but "grind" elements bring me nothing, at least IMO if it's cosmetic only, then it's not that good of a motivation (except when you play with friends, then this game is fun for some time), maybe if they add some social places, and some mini games where you can interact with other people in a friendly way, it would be fun. Idk, the game is great, but it has much much much more potential than this imo.

Great content, you guys really know how to give the spawn camping and tucking streamers a designated place to sit and farm......now if a few of those "Millions of players" would actually log in so we can have more than 2 people per server this would be even better.
@@MrMcGriddIe Okay okay get this, some people, like myself, understand that pvp is a part of the game. But like me and many others believe, the defender should always have the advantage sense we spent the 6 hours of hard work to get the loot and stocking up our ship to defend ourselves. This new shrine encourages you to server hop and ignore stocking up your ship which beats the whole purpose of the game.
@@MrMcGriddIe yea there are a few vaults spread around the map but from the looks of it they will take about half an hour to complete, which is enough time to at the very least be spotted by another crew if not sunk. Also, the game seems to scale depending on crew size, so if your a duo and one stays behind it’s gonna take a long time, this is less of an issue on a gallon or brig but it’s still an issue with these vaults.
@@thafox4151 the whole point of the game is that you are ALWAYS on equal playing grounda and that your loot can be stolen.
@@orbiitvirus7999 equal playing ground means both the defender and attacker has what they need to get the job done. The defender has no good way to defend themselves in this shrine.
