Super helpful! Thanks for the tutorial. I loved how clearly you explained everything, without out taking too long. Not talking slow, but not talking fast, and talking like you enjoyed what you were doing. Just got yourself a new sub!
Thanks for showing us how it's done. Davinci resolve has a few ways of doing things, your advice is usually MUCH bettet than the things I come up with on my own. Thanks for posting!!
@@JayAreTV Question for you, is there any way to keep the greenscreen and effects accurate while changing the timeline? Once I change the timeline for tiktok, all my greenscreen effects are cut off. Do I have to rebuild the effects every time?
This is very helpful, do you have a video on how to fix a vertical to horizontal I still can't fix it I have changed the settings and zoomed in and out it makes it look awful.
Hi Jay, Great Tutorial! Thank you! Maybe you can help me: I have 5k footage and export it to 4k. I want to zoom and pan on the clip. Is there any way to have some guidelines on the Edit page so that I know I am on the edge? Because I do not want to lose any quality. Thanks!
Awesome transition at 3:54 Very useful, sadly it doesn't apply to my workflow since I need to reframe static educational content on top of stationary educational video. So when I repost for IG I have to do most of it manually. But this is very handy for that one time I don't do anything educational
I have DaVinci Resolve 18.1.3 and I don't see the Smart Reframe option. Is that because it is not the studio version? If so, does that mean I have to manually reframe it?
PLEASE HELP ME !!!! I want to change the view on the editing workspace in a way that is similar to the vertical video view mode on premiere pro. But i cant drag and drop the painels just like premiere pro. Im wondering if this is even possible in davinci resolve. Somebody knows if this is possible? and how could i can do it, if it is possible?
So confusing, not you lol it’s me. I have nice content that I want for social media like Instagram but trying out settings. what I want is cut out because of cropping. So this means I cannot use it. So frustrating :(

@@JayAreTV Your welcome!
Didn't realize you could set individual timeline resolutions. thanks!!!
In my ever daily quest to hack my way out of the Resolve Jungle with a dull machete, this was useful, and very easy to digest. Subscribing!

Hey Jay! I know this might be a long shot, but do you happen to remember what the song in the background is in the intro of this video? 🙂

This is very helpful, do you have a video on how to fix a vertical to horizontal I still can't fix it I have changed the settings and zoomed in and out it makes it look awful.
Thank you so much, saved me hours!!!
I am trying to reframe it manually in the free version like you show, but it's not saving the changes. Anyone have any advice??

How cool, thank you!
Hi! Do you know what to do if auto reframing is moving also my y axis making some black moving spaces above and below my video?
Awesome video...thanks vor that 🙂
I followed each step for resizing and when I clicked OK nothing changed like on yours?
Same happened here, still trying to figure out what is going on
How about if we don't want to lose all other elements in the photo? Without zooming or cutting
Hi, how do I resize video shot in 6.2K format to 16.9 ratio? thanks
Does smart reframe only work on the paid studio version? I'm not seeing it on my free version.
Very helpful! Thx :)

my smart free frame isn't showing
How to make body look slimmer using da vinci?
I have DaVinci Resolve 18.1.3 and I don't see the Smart Reframe option. Is that because it is not the studio version? If so, does that mean I have to manually reframe it?
I think it is a studio only tool.

What about graphics??! The little secret is that DR graphics are basically a rebuild when going from 16x9 to social media formats.
I dont have "Smart reframe" :\

Literally every single video highlights the "smart reframe" function. I have the free version, how on earth do I reframe with the FREE version
I think it's a studio only tool.
Followed everything you said and it ain’t working man 😊
You yelling "SO" is killing me, just be yourself man. Otherwise thanks for the information.
Thank you so much
