- HI! I'm Shay. My goal here is to create an honest and relatable page to show what life is like for me. A 23 year old, married, black woman, out of Charlotte, North Carolina. There is no fancy video editing here, just real and raw footage of me loving my people and facing life challenges. I love my life and want to do it justice. Did you ultimately go back to Dallas, seems like a lot of people get bored of Charlotte then go back home? Or do you like Charlotte more?

Hi! Thanks for this video. You have a beautiful family! Could you tell which state, in your opinion, is overall better? We are a little over 30 and have two kids, and we are considering moving to Texas, to Houston, and comparing it to Charlotte, NC. 🙂
Hello! Thank you so much! That’s a tough one both are great. It depends so much on what you’re looking for. However, in my opinion I would say Charlotte is better. We absolutely love it. Charlotte is so fun, family oriented, full of young people, diverse, smaller town feel in suburbs with convenience of bigger city, so outdoorsy, and the best thing is the location. It’s close to beaches and mountains. And you can road-trip to so many cities. I hope that helps! Good luck!!

would you say charlotte is better? how are you liking It ?
That’s such a hard question! I wouldn’t say Charlotte it better. I personally love both. I think Dallas makes for a better place to live long term just because it’s so much bigger. But if you value being outdoors, quick access to the beach and mountains, Charlotte would be more ideal. We are ultimately planning to move back to Dallas though.
@@shaylahaveryoates I've lived in Charlotte 7 years now and over it. It's boring, looking at Houston or Dallas.
