She hid it. She knew it was wrong. Also, 'he will get over it' demonstrates foreknowledge of the damage she was doing.

Having been there 50 years ago I am still amazed at how men let emotion take over their thinking instead of focusing on reality.
When it happened to me I skipped the emotion and didn't try to think that I had done anything wrong.
I knew I had always done the best I could.
I didn't sit in a motel thinking about the good times.
Even though I like knew that there really wasn't many good times.
I focused on what was real and focused on the next step.
And the step after that.
I didn't have time to feel sorry for myself.

There are so many plot wholes in this story regarding their relationship. Bridget was a big ole tramp. She made a promise when she said love, honor and cherish. You dishonor your spouse and your vows when you go outside of your marriage. Her reviewing their wedding was a blazing red flag that she knew she was doing something wrong and needed justification for it.
If you have to go through all of that BS, why stay married take the kids and run. What if she promised her 1st born to someone, really. Exit stage left or right just exit. Marriage is hard not that freaking hard.
So where is the rest of the story? So she got 4 years,so? What happened with kids? Did he tell them the truth? What about the guy the Bikers took away? What happened to him? What happened to the Husband here? By the way, how did he manage to drug them in the beginning of the story?
Cheating wife was easily duped by ex boyfriend and thought she did nothing wrong having an affair with him claiming that his wife was having intimacy issues which weren't true. . She's so stupid. She could have verified with the wife of her ex boyfriend. Somehow, husband forgave cheating wife and he cheated on his wife to get even.
It wasn’t taking anything away from Kurt - but in reality it took everything away and she lied everytime she was with him forTHREE YEARS 🔥

Interesting and rather realistic story.
Reconciling after major betrayal is never impossible; however, the reconciliation cannot resolve nor absolve all issues. My real biggest thing is how this channel that says real cheating stories has fake stories mixed in a few times lately even if they deny that even though one story had a magic ring and a sasquatch monster in it and another had a being who seemed to be god. They also tend to suddenly redirect towards the end and either repeat what someone else did to the MC who obviously doesnt have the same personal ideals like his wife did for the majority of the first cheating issue suddenly deciding he can do the same thing when he doesnt have the belief of a promise to twist his character. I think the writer has this tendency to suddenly divert the path their story is following to add things that completley change the MCs thought process and still think that doesnt ruin everything the story literally spent explaining early on. Like admit the stories are fake and a fantasy someone wrote or stop click baiting and be honest that there are a lot of things left to the imagination in the writing.
How does saying I'm sorry help it doesn't undo anything

She must have a real strange definition of honor and cherish if she thinks its fine to sleep with someone but still keep her vows to another especially trying to justify everything with a loophole? Like there is something really messed up with someone if that is the case. The fact she had to look up to justify what she was going to do alone says guilt. She cant even accept that she did something wrong cause she still doesnt accept it cause she was following a promise. The biggest issue is she never took into account his feelings or reaction because of her not honestly communicating. The thing with honesty between couples is everything should be talked about the two. You cant say everyone has the same beliefs, securities, and ideals or we wouldnt be human. She never took into account the hurt he would deal with if he discovered something she herself in all her honesty wouldnt speak to him about because she knew she was doing something wrong in his eyes. Promises though important should not detail every aspect of ones life especially if they can so easily be used against someone and this story showcased it.
The way Bridgit processes her thoughts she is a walking red flag for any guy . There is no way you would want to try & trust this woman when her brain processes things differently to the average person.
I didn't like this. She violated everything. An he took her back. Until the first love dies anytime soon she's always going to think of ways to meet. An she SAID HERSELF, SHE DOESN'T REGRET IT.
