Great finds and prices Donna! And the pitcher Sarah got you is lovely. Great way to display. I have many baskets like that used for crabs in our area ha. No handles. I used one (cleaned) on my mantle sideways this fall and filled with many sized pumpkins spilling out. And greenery and autumn leaves. Was pretty. Definitely a repeat for this autumn. 😀 We finally got 2” snow here in Maryland and I have a pot of mixed beans cooking with ham and onions. I’ll fix cornbread later too. Yum. Stay warm. I like Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Saturdays are always so hectic. Our weather has been windchills of -20 to -35, and highs around 0 to +3 area. We have definitely been in the deep freeze!!! Today, we're hoping for a high of +12! I'm going to for sure try your Cool Whip cake. It looked amazing. Sarah and Cody have a very cute house. That picture was perfect for the area they hung it in. Wow Donna, you and Sarah found some amazing things. The red and white coffee pot Sarah gave you is so beautiful! I love red and white dishes but very rarely find any of them around here. If I do find some they’re priced way out of my budget. I also really the blue and white dishes, and I do see them much more frequently. I’m glad Cody enjoyed his birthday cake. Thank you for introducing Sarah and Cody’s cat Arthur to us. He is just gorgeous. Do they have just the one? The picture Sarah got to put by their piano I s so neat, and just perfect for that spot. I’m shocked at the great price she was able to get it for too!. It looks so nice hanging by their piano. In fact, it’s perfect there. Please tell Sarah that like you, she decorates beautifully! And it is not only beautifully decorated, it also appears to be very cozy, warm, and welcoming.

Oh Sarah is so sweet!! I just love Arthur the kitty!! He reminds me of one I used to have! You can tell he's well taken care of! Lol! I love his precious little face! Can you tell I'm a cat person?? I love doggies, too, tho. We've had 2 very special dogs which have been in doggie heaven for many years!! We still have cats. My son & I are suckers & we rescue every one that comes to our houses!! Bless my son's heart, he fell stepping off our ramp, broke his left foot which will need surgery after swelling goes down and badly sprained his right foot too the way he fell. Now he's in a splint on his left foot and a boot on his right, and on crutches. He goes back to the ortho dr on Tuesday to check the swelling status & schedule his surgery. Now I have to do a lot I'm really not supposed to be doing, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Our daughter-in-love works all day and then she'll come up & do for the cats & me, then go home and take care of our son. I'd appreciate all the prayers we can get. Hubby has been very emotional lately. I had to try to sweep snow off the ramp & my car to take hubby's med from Walmart up to the long-term care facility and visited with him for awhile. He cried when our nephew, who was visiting showed him a picture then again when we prayed together. That just tears me up and makes for a rough night for me. I can't sleep much anyway because of this horrible pain I live with. But I know God will take care of us. And it doesn't matter when you upload videos.. I'll watch em! So whatever is best for you! Hi Donna, great haul you really picked up some great finds. That little brass trinket box is actually called a snuff box, they made them in brass, silver, wood and sometimes there is decorative wood design on top of the old wood snuff containers and there is different kinds in black that look like there is opal mixed in an some black with light orange in them. My Dad used to collect them for my Step Mom. I only have a few from him and he sold his big collection they range from $35.00 an up, very collectible for the right people who collect or they resale. Sarah is just so precious and there home is so beautiful ! That cake oh my gosh sugar overload yum ! It is 8* in south eastern Indiana, with wind blowing feels like 1* it’s been a long time since we had this kind of weather. I really enjoy your new schedule on your uploads ! Here at 8:30 in Missouri it is minus one and yay getting up in teens, some snow. Sub zero is not necessarily our norm. But has been since Saturday. Yes bread, milk and eggs must get items.😁 My big fine was a valentine post card my mom got as baby in 1913, she was born 12/1/12 and was 42 when I was born. I would come across it now and then, thought cute, but just glanced at it thinking oh should frame for valentine decor, then forget. Came across during Christmas and then almost couldn’t find again. Going fast route and ordered a vintage looking frame from Amazon. But I was excited with sentimental side and the age of it. I loved that store and your haul. Quite a collection of Vaseline glass which I don’t see a lot of. You just video whenever you want.

Here in Ky we didn’t get any snow last year, but we have 61/2 inches this morning, the temp is 15, and wind chill feels like 8. And they are forecasting another round for Thursday! I am staying in and staying warm. We are retired, but I worry about my kids and grandkids who have to go to work. I am watching lots of RUclips, and getting some great ideas!

There definitely seems to be an endless number of antique and thrift shops in your immediate area!!! It has been really cold here this week. Our local weather forecast looks like it will continue to be very cold through Sunday and then after that it will be very spring-like weather for a very long stretch that will bring lots of rainy days-oh joy!!! I would be happier with cold and sunshine-jus sayin!!! Last year all of the fruit and flowering trees in our area and also my roses , my crape myrtles, and my hydrangeas started to put out leaves and buds which all got damaged when it got cold again!!! Last year we had a late spring cold snap that lasted for so long we thought it would never get warm enough to swim in our pool. We usually take our first swim Memorial Day weekend and it was well into June before our pool warmed up enough to swim, which has never happened in the entire 25 years we have had our swimming pool!!! I bet it is really weird for y’all with it being so cold as close as you are to the coast!!!

Great haul! Love your basket. We’ve got about 8-9 inches of snow. High temp of 27 degrees with low of 1 degree tonight. Saturday high as of now is 19 high and low -4 degrees. So far we still have power. (Praise the Lord) We do have 2 propane gas fireplaces for back up heat and a generator. This past Saturday my husband made corn bread and I kept smelling something. I said did you burn the corn bread? He said,”no”. I look at the eyes on the stove and the knobs was turned to off only the red light was on to indicate something had not cooled off yet. I go back to what I was doing and we hear a beeping sound we’ve never heard before. I go to the kitchen and the bottom of the stove was still on and we keep a cast iron skillet in our oven all the time and it was smoking. On the stove it read F1. The bottom heating element would not go off. We had to pull out the stove and unplug it before it would go off. Now, I can’t hear or see well, but I’ve got a good nose.😜 We are still figuring out what we are going to do about fixing or replacing it. But, thank God we was home!

You answered your own question. People go out to get milk and bread because once it snows in the roads are slick, nobody knows how to drive on them and it’s very dangerous. I personally went out and got my milk and bread so I won’t have to go back out for two or three days if it does get bad, I am also enjoying this video. I wish we had a place like that to go pick!

Donna love the gift Sara gave you. Cody's birthday cake looked like it belonged in a southern magazine/cookbook. He was so happy!!! Loved the picture Sara found, it looks amazing!!!! I don't know how James and Cody survived the cold weather working on the back patio. Would love to see the patio when it is finished. You and James are so giving and you can tell your family is so appreciative of everything you do to help each other. I was raised the same way. I absolutely loved the little Vaseline jar and the pewter hearts. Love how you styled all the treasures. Your an amazing thrifter and decorator!!!! It is very cold here in Orlando, Florida. I have many baskets like that used for crabs in our area ha. No handles. I used one (cleaned) on my mantle sideways this fall and filled with many sized pumpkins spilling out. And greenery and autumn leaves. Was pretty. Definitely a repeat for this autumn. 😀

I like Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Saturdays are always so hectic. Our weather has been windchills of -20 to -35, and highs around 0 to +3 area. We have definitely been in the deep freeze!!! Today, we're hoping for a high of +12! I'm going to for sure try your Cool Whip cake. It looked amazing. Sarah and Cody have a very cute house. That picture was perfect for the area they hung it in. I always like hanging around with you, Donna. You're fun! That large woven basket is so neat, because most of them don't have the handle anymore!! Antiques just price high. Too high for me at times too, but still fun! We're in MN and yes, we're used to cold weather! We're to have a high of 2 degrees tomorrow! Milk and bread just meant that we can live on those two staples!!

Wow Donna, you and Sarah found some amazing things. The red and white coffee pot Sarah gave you is so beautiful! I love red and white dishes but very rarely find any of them around here. If I do find some they’re priced way out of my budget. I also really the blue and white dishes, and I do see them much more frequently. I’m glad Cody enjoyed his birthday cake. Thank you for introducing Sarah and Cody’s cat Arthur to us. He is just gorgeous. Do they have just the one? The picture Sarah got to put by their piano I s so neat, and just perfect for that spot. I’m shocked at the great price she was able to get it for too!. It looks so nice hanging by their piano. In fact, it’s perfect there. Please tell Sarah that like you, she decorates beautifully! And it is not only beautifully decorated, it also appears to be very cozy, warm, and welcoming.

The look on Cody's face when Sarah said she needed something to put "over there". Reminds me of my husband's reaction when I say I want to go to the goodwill bins. 😂 your cake looked so good. I'll give your husband credit, he's not afraid of hard work and he's good about helping others. We got ice and snow over here in South Alabama. Oh Sarah is so sweet!! I just love Arthur the kitty!! He reminds me of one I used to have! You can tell he's well taken care of! Lol! I love his precious little face! Can you tell I'm a cat person?? I love doggies, too, tho. We've had 2 very special dogs which have been in doggie heaven for many years!! We still have cats. My son & I are suckers & we rescue every one that comes to our houses!! Bless my son's heart, he fell stepping off our ramp, broke his left foot which will need surgery after swelling goes down and badly sprained his right foot too the way he fell. Now he's in a splint on his left foot and a boot on his right, and on crutches. He goes back to the ortho dr on Tuesday to check the swelling status & schedule his surgery. Now I have to do a lot I'm really not supposed to be doing, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Our daughter-in-love works all day and then she'll come up & do for the cats & me, then go home and take care of our son. I'd appreciate all the prayers we can get. Hubby has been very emotional lately. I had to try to sweep snow off the ramp & my car to take hubby's med from Walmart up to the long-term care facility and visited with him for awhile. He cried when our nephew, who was visiting showed him a picture then again when we prayed together. That just tears me up and makes for a rough night for me. I can't sleep much anyway because of this horrible pain I live with. But I know God will take care of us. And it doesn't matter when you upload videos.. I'll watch em! So whatever is best for you! Hi Donna, great haul you really picked up some great finds. That little brass trinket box is actually called a snuff box, they made them in brass, silver, wood and sometimes there is decorative wood design on top of the old wood snuff containers and there is different kinds in black that look like there is opal mixed in an some black with light orange in them. My Dad used to collect them for my Step Mom. I only have a few from him and he sold his big collection they range from $35.00 an up, very collectible for the right people who collect or they resale. Sarah is just so precious and there home is so beautiful ! That cake oh my gosh sugar overload yum ! It is 8* in south eastern Indiana, with wind blowing feels like 1* it’s been a long time since we had this kind of weather. I really enjoy your new schedule on your uploads ! Here at 8:30 in Missouri it is minus one and yay getting up in teens, some snow. Sub zero is not necessarily our norm. But has been since Saturday. Yes bread, milk and eggs must get items.😁 My big fine was a valentine post card my mom got as baby in 1913, she was born 12/1/12 and was 42 when I was born. I would come across it now and then, thought cute, but just glanced at it thinking oh should frame for valentine decor, then forget. Came across during Christmas and then almost couldn’t find again. Going fast route and ordered a vintage looking frame from Amazon. But I was excited with sentimental side and the age of it. I loved that store and your haul. Quite a collection of Vaseline glass which I don’t see a lot of. You just video whenever you want.

Here in Ky we didn’t get any snow last year, but we have 61/2 inches this morning, the temp is 15, and wind chill feels like 8. And they are forecasting another round for Thursday! I am staying in and staying warm. We are retired, but I worry about my kids and grandkids who have to go to work. I am watching lots of RUclips, and getting some great ideas!

There definitely seems to be an endless number of antique and thrift shops in your immediate area!!! It has been really cold here this week. Our local weather forecast looks like it will continue to be very cold through Sunday and then after that it will be very spring-like weather for a very long stretch that will bring lots of rainy days-oh joy!!! I would be happier with cold and sunshine-jus sayin!!! Last year all of the fruit and flowering trees in our area and also my roses , my crape myrtles, and my hydrangeas started to put out leaves and buds which all got damaged when it got cold again!!! Last year we had a late spring cold snap that lasted for so long we thought it would never get warm enough to swim in our pool. We usually take our first swim Memorial Day weekend and it was well into June before our pool warmed up enough to swim, which has never happened in the entire 25 years we have had our swimming pool!!! I bet it is really weird for y’all with it being so cold as close as you are to the coast!!!
Thank you!! We are use to January being very cold here. Honestly, it used to be to be like this all the time when I was growing up. I love the cold days. It doesn’t bother me. We need it to kill the bugs. I also remember how hot our summer was…😄

Great haul! Love your basket. We’ve got about 8-9 inches of snow. High temp of 27 degrees with low of 1 degree tonight. Saturday high as of now is 19 high and low -4 degrees. So far we still have power. (Praise the Lord) We do have 2 propane gas fireplaces for back up heat and a generator. This past Saturday my husband made corn bread and I kept smelling something. I said did you burn the corn bread? He said,”no”. I look at the eyes on the stove and the knobs was turned to off only the red light was on to indicate something had not cooled off yet. I go back to what I was doing and we hear a beeping sound we’ve never heard before. I go to the kitchen and the bottom of the stove was still on and we keep a cast iron skillet in our oven all the time and it was smoking. On the stove it read F1. The bottom heating element would not go off. We had to pull out the stove and unplug it before it would go off. Now, I can’t hear or see well, but I’ve got a good nose.😜 We are still figuring out what we are going to do about fixing or replacing it. But, thank God we was home!

What a great antique shop you visited Donna. So many cute things. As far as the cold goes we are so use to it up North. I'm from Ct so being a New Englander the snow is really no big deal. In fact we are getting snow today so there may be a little to shovel later. I'm also fine with whatever days you pick to post your videos. You answered your own question. People go out to get milk and bread because once it snows in the roads are slick, nobody knows how to drive on them and it’s very dangerous. I personally went out and got my milk and bread so I won’t have to go back out for two or three days if it does get bad, I am also enjoying this video. I wish we had a place like that to go pick!

Here in Tennessee, we have 6 inches of snow on the ground, its currently 10 degrees with windshield a minus 5 , but going to be colder tomorrow and tomorrow night, with more snow coming on Thursday with winter mix, and yes we moved from Indiana so we had our fair share of snow and cold, but I’m over it. We are in Northern IL. We have lived here our whole lives and are used to the cold . Last night it was ~18 degrees and wind was blowing. Brrr. we stocked up Thurs. and will not be going out until tomorrow when its suppose to climb to 18 degrees. I pray everyone is safe and doing well. God Bless.
