    Stunning. Literally amazing. Your dramatic opening is perfect. !!! It is not too overly done either. Beautiful beautiful job. And wow, again again - your interpretation is Perfection!! Wow - I just can't say enough good about it.
    This interpretation is what I believe thoroughly was Bach's goal for this movement especially yes.

    It seems to be consistent -- the soprano saxophone manages to do an emulation of a baroque oboe that is competitive with a modern oboe.

    If we knew each other better, I would invite you to view the closing tag in a slightly different way - and the key to it is in the tenor preparation just prior. Also in the alto part in the closing measures - ending with the octave jump.
