Thrawn actually knew Anakin. They both did some stuff together on Batuu at the black spire outpost from Galaxy’s Edge in the second Thrawn novel (Alliances). They were friends, kind of.
I liked this episode and Your reaction too. Especially Ezra's fighting and his interaction with others. They did good job with him, he has really Rebels Ezra vibes. And Baylan, Shin, Thrawn and Ahsoka are amazing too.
I think Ezra's use of the force is a mix of Shaolin and Baguazhang, which were the basis behind Firebending and Airbending, respectively, from the Avatar franchise. The quick evasive moves looked like Baguazhang and the fast pushes and kicks were Shaolin.
If you ever watch Star Wars resistance the animated series the guy that's always complaining in the Senate Is the main characters father in the animated show.. The series was fun not the greatest but it was entertaining
👍 Sabine had her awakening.. And I have a feeling Ezra is not gonna make it.. Too much talk about getting home. Anyway this episode was a little lackluster to me.. I didn't care for some of the fight choreography.. Felt a little rushed probably the weakest episode out of the series.. But yeah next week is it ..then we get Loki season two In a few days
A very mediocre episode in my opinion. I’m getting very tired of plot armor in Star Wars. It was already too much or at least on edge on many occasions in Rebels and other shows, and now it just seems they’ll never learn.. You might say I’m contradicting myself here after what I said before, but the one standout that I really loved was Ezra’s hand to hand combat skills

Nice
Does Ezra even know he's in another galaxy? Sabine hasn't told him anything
At first I thought Baylan was cringe since his entrance seemed over dramatic but then I realized he is like a new Count Dooku.

Hey man! You gotta watch Resistance after Ahsoka!

Definitely not my favorite episode but nice reaction, as always! Let's see how they end this, what kind of Jedi devilry Filoni is cooking, lol
Somethings wrong with ezra. Worst case is he's enslaved the noti. If he can talk to and summon whales, why hadnt he done it already to get back?
I feel like ezra may be the "madness" part of the story

I thought the fight scenes were great, including Ahsoka trying a new form against Baylon.
