I'm pretty sure your already a Home Fry, due to your reactions already. I've followed them since THE SING OFF. They are impressive, you can go back to the show and react to their Ring Of Fire and then do their video featuring Avi Kaplan (former bass for Pentatonix).
Home Free has kept their fans entertained during quareenteen. In fact some of their best works has been done with them physically separated.
They really are more then just an acapella group. Just good humans and good vocalists.

The more you watch these guys, the more addictive they become. I've not seen a bad video yet, they've all been fantastic. They have a goofy side, but they also have a serious side. Doesn't matter what you pock to do next, they are all very, very good. Darren Rust is their producer, and has become like their 6th member. He's a total genius when it comes to putting this stuff together. Loved all your reactions so far, and just subscribed.

I'll admit...I subscribed because you started reacting to Home Free. But Im glad I did because I like and appreciate your comments...and your attitude, especially given the state of things right now. Btw, you said you were a military guy. You gotta hear them sing "God Bless the USA" by them. Theres actually 3 versions out there. One is just Home Free, one is Home Free with Lee Greenwood, and the latest is Home Free, featuring Lee Greenwood and the Air Force singers. Check it out. You cant watch it and not be effected.

I have never been disappointed by one of their songs, both their covers and their originals. They give us so much emotion with every song ! For me, this guys are simply the BEST !! 👍
The sea shanty just makes ya feel good right?! I hate to say I have favorites but Tim as jack sparrow and austin in the red like sinbad are my favorite! Austin's theatrical experience really shows in this one and I love his tone singing santi ana. 😍 And then adam makes canasta sounds?! Awesome!! Thanks man! 🤘❤️
You're coming into a new subculture a/k/a rabbithole. The small acapella group, usually consisting of two high singers, two low singers who can also go high, and a world-class beatboxer. If you react repeatedly to the vids of Home Free, and Voiceplay (Geoff Castellucci's group), and Pentatonix, plus the vids of their individual present and former members in various other combinations, You'll have enough material to last a good long while and will see a big jump in your subscribers.
All of the above, plus Voctave, which is an acappella ensemble.
I think it's so cool that the fans of all these groups are supportive of each other. I prefer Home Free & Pentatonix, but love some songs from all of the groups. I've very rarely seen anyone bad mouthing another group. It's a wholesome & welcoming community!
And don't forget to throw Peter Hollens in the mix.

You wanted to know who put Sea Shantys together, that would be Adam Chance, the first singer you see in the song setting the beat. He is a big fan of sea shantys and talked the other guys into doing this. He said he wanted to add more but was afraid it would be to long. So, who knows, maybe there will be a part 2 someday. One of my favorites for a long time. Meet in the middle was one of the staple songs as I raised my 2 boys. I have never seen these guys before but I will now. I was singing as loud as I could and teary eyed too. ☯️💟☮️

Darren is their mastermind for their videos! He never disappoints. When they all went into quarantine they immediately ordered basically a full recording studio for each one of them in their homes so they could keep making amazing content.

Home Free has a knack of lifting my mood! It doesn't matter which song I listen to, I always feel better when I hear them. These two songs are great mood-lifters. I love the message of Meet In The Middle - it's definitely something we should all try to do to make the world a better place. You are so right about that. Thanks for the reaction! Their very talented editor is Darren Rust - they call him the 6th member of Home Free and he does all the mixing and producing. The video editing is done by Jimmy Bates who is fantastically creative - as you saw with the brilliant transitions in the Meet In The Middle video.

These were produced while in quarantine, the guys did a lot of songs both covers and new material during such a hard time for many. Their music didn't stop and kept us fans filled with hope.

These guys have such creative videos and the harmonies are amazing....pretty good for some "country guys"...a lot of people dismiss them without giving them a chance period !! I'm so glad you decided to take a chance on them. Their editor SHOULD win a grammy, Mr Darren Rust. Where should you go next ? Well you could go humorous with the Butts Remix, or an original song Dive Bar Saint or Catch me if you can, or country ballad with lots of GREAT harmonies inCountry Roads (but I know you just did Geoff Castalucci so you may wanna put that one on the back burner for a while), you could go for their artist side with Helplessly Hoping with the most beautiful harmonies you'll ever hear, or message song wise with Everybody Walkin' this Land (watch to the end to hear Tim's message), or family oriented with Down to the Honkytonk, or hear them do a little rap/hip hop with Spaceship !!

One of the things Home Free has done over their career is found and continued to work with great people who are outstanding at what they do - Darren Rust, their arranger and producer, and Jimmy Bates, editor and videographer, who planned these videos. (Because the group lives scattered across the US, since the pandemic they've been filming many of their videos themselves on their phones, and then Jimmy has edited them together, and he's done an incredible job with the resources he has.)
Home Free are Great they haven't done a bad song yet . This one was a group of many that they put out on RUclips during the pandemic to keep their fans happy ☺
Hi! New subscriber here. I love watching people react to HOME FREE. I have loved everything they’ve released. One of my favorites is one they did much earlier - a cover of Avicci’s WAKE ME UP! i loved diamond rio back in the day! my husband love metal but he really liked diamond rio , tried to teach him how to dance...didnt work but still love the memories!
The first song the Chance starts out with in the Sea Shanty Medley is called Soon May the Wellerman Come. He joined a duo called the Hound + The Fox for a very good video for that song. If you've seen Home Free's Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer that duo is married with the baby who answered their know on the door. The there of them also did My Mother Told Me, which was the first video I saw of VoicePlay. Love both versions.

Agreed. Differences in opinions is what keeps things interesting and creative. They should not be used to stir up anger and division. Check out HF's, "Everybody Walkin This Land". It's a bold statement of this, and be sure to listen to Tim's comments at the end. - Weren't those video transitions awesome?!! This is one of my favorite videos. It was perfect for the early quarantine days. Very happy and uplifting. Of course, most of the guy's catalogue is happy and uplifting.

When A Man Loves A Woman, BLue Aint Your Color, In The Blood... the list goes on and on.. if you love great harmonies and a group that doesnt take itself super seriously all the time, you will be mesmerized. The videos are produced and edited by Jimmy Bates who ha done a lot of their videos. Other songs I suggest are covers In The Blood (John Mayer) and Castle on the Hill (Ed Shearan), or original songs Any Way the Wind Blows, Everything Will Be Okay, Cross that Bridge, or Love Me Like That.

Try Ring of Fire - featuring Avi from Pentatonix.. it's one of their earliest videos and has Chris Rupp as the baritone (He along with Adam Rupp founded the group in 2000. It has gone through quite a few members since then but has been pretty stable since they won the Sing Off in 2014. Chris left the group in 2016 to pursue some solo work and Adam Chance "Chance" came in)

If you liked the Shanty Medly you should check out The Longest Johns, Poxxy Boggards, Alestorm they do alot of sea shanties and Irish music. Longest John's I believe sing mainly sea shanties.

You should definitely try sea shanty "my mother told me". It's emotional one. I think original is by Perly i Lotry. My personal best version is by Rachel Hardy.
Hahaha - I was like Sea Shanty? What? Then I listened and loved it. I only knew one song but loved this. Did you hear Adam (beatboxer) do castanets in the last song? How does he do that? Meet in the Middle is a good song and done so well. The cover is so clever using the phones. They’ve been doing so many songs during Quarantine and I love them for it. I discovered them during the pandemic and their music is so versatile and so well done. To hear great harmonies try Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, I Can’t Outrun You. They have a lot of funny songs too as well as serious songs. Tim, the bass, wrote What We Need Is Love. Loved your reaction and I subscribed.
9:00 that's basically why sea shanties survived so long. They're darn catchy and like workmen songs were a fun way to pass the time. On who put it together? My guess would be Chance. Apparently he's a big sea shanty buff already. This is only a reaction request if you want it to be, but at least in your own time please check out the song, 'leis an lurgainn'. Its an old Scottish shanty and I think you'll like it. My favorite version is by a group called 'Scatter The Mud'.
There are many version of the song. Some completely in Scottish Gaelic and some with just the title phrase. The title phrase can mean (according to what I read) either 'with Lurgainn', Lurgain being the name of the captain, or 'On the Lurgainn', the same being the name of the ship.
You're going to find a lot of support from Home Free's fans (the Home Fries 😁)! From what you said about Meet in the Middle, I think you'd really like Everybody's Walkin This Land. It's a powerful song. Hope you get many more subs!

I stopped scrolling to watch your reaction because of home free. They are my obsession. I have never seen or heard so much talent in one group before. I'm glad I stopped though because I really enjoyed your reaction and love the message you put out there. I agree we all need to go back to the way it was when we was young. No one got offended at little things, we all just worked and had lots of fun and definitely had respect for others. I also believe the same as you about marriage. People just give up on marriage at the first sign of trouble or stress or whatever. I was married 30 years until my husband passed but we went through a lot in our younger years but fought to stay together. You can work through anything if you try hard enough and believe. Yep, been married 43 years, dude! The last 10 we've been team truck driving! We have three grown sons! Home Free is the best group ever. Been following them since 2017 when I just happened on them online. I thought I'd discovered gold!! I R a home fry now? I would subscribe but I don't care for some cursing language, I feel there are better words. You seem like a nice, too bad! I gave you 👍 though!
