    tradução para o portugues;
    Além da ilha arborizada
Para o rio largo e livre
    Navegou orgulhosamente o
    Navios de cossaco yeomanry.
    No primeiro está Stenka Razin
Com sua princesa ao seu lado
Bêbado segurando em festejos de casamento
    Com sua linda jovem noiva.
    De trás vem um murmúrio
    "Ele deixou sua espada para cortejar;
Uma curta noite e Stenka Razin
Também se tornou uma mulher. "
    Stenka Razin ouve o murmúrio
    De sua banda descontente
    E sua adorável princesa persa
    Ele circulou com a mão.
    Suas sobrancelhas escuras estão unidas
    À medida que as ondas de raiva aumentam;
E o sangue vem correndo rapidamente
    Para seus penetrantes olhos negros.
"Eu vou te dar tudo que você pedir
    Cabeça e coração e vida e mão. "
E sua voz rola como um trovão
    Atravessando a terra distante.
    Volga, Volga, Mãe Volga
Amplo e profundo sob o sol,
Você nunca tem um presente assim
    Dos cossacos do Don.
Para que a paz reine para sempre
Nesta banda tão livre e corajosa
    Volga, Volga, Mãe Volga
Faça desta linda garota um túmulo.
Agora, com um movimento rápido e poderoso
Ele levantou sua noiva no alto
E a lançou onde as águas
    Do Volga rolar e suspirar.

    Desde

what if, in truth, Razin cared so much for the princess to smuggle her off the boat late one evening, and then whilst the crew were so drunk that they couldn't distinguish between the tiny body of the princess and the rolled up carpet wrapped in a woman's shawl? as rugged as the cossack leader was, we might suspect that in the olden days a man rose to become the leader of men primarily because of his bravery, valour and charisma, and not for brutality or cruelty. In those days, men would follow not through passive obedience or fear or secure salary. I feel that the enemy the state chose to apply the ugliest rumour to demonise the peasant leader. nobody would then question their decision to sentence the dude to death, once they caught him and to put an end to him. It's written on the wind and this melody, that the real truth about Razin still needs to be told.

Well, actually, Razin captured not only the Persian princess, but also her brother, as a result of the defeat of the Persian fleet. After the Cossacks sent for negotiations to the Shah were executed, Razin drowned the Persian princess, and hung her brother by the ribs on a hook, saying: "From here you will have a better view of your Persia."

@@user-ld9hx7eh8b actually you left out the word 'allegedly' as per 'hanged her brother', but no surprises there, as the populace favours a tale about a drunken lunatic than a gutsy rebel rouser.
You would know there are several versions of this legendary event, no?

@@stanibol I do not argue. Who better than foreigners (most often, not even speaking Russian) can know the history of Russia? Of course you are right. Thank you, distant foreign friend, for explaining to me, an ethnic Russian, the history of my Cossack ancestors. I bow low to you ... The life of Stepan Razin is documented, there are documents by which you can trace his life and tragic fate. His "Persian campaign" can be tracked by the clock. But naturally it pisses you off.
