My only negative feedback and this isn't Acers fault... Windows 8 is not touch friendly or as intuitive as android or ios. Overall a fantastic 2 in 1, hard to tell this is a "budget" device.With a 64gb micro sd its flawless.

Need to buy it extra though (when it comes out, was shown on IFA 2014), heres what they say on their Site: Acer Active Pen lets users enjoy greater accuracy and comfort when writing and drawing. With N-trig DuoSense®, this active stylus uses electromagnetic induction technology and responds to varying degrees of pressure sensitivity like an actual pen, resulting in a greater range of pen strokes and more natural writing. The Acer Active Pen can be used with gesture controls at the same time, so customers can, for example, resize a picture with a pinching gesture and adjust fine details with the pen.

Yes. Look at the new Switch 11 that comes with Core i3 (or Core i5 I think) and full HD. It's $599 and could be perfect for students. My video hands-on from IFA Berlin is stuck on a broken laptop right now but i'll upload when it's recovered next week.

It's not about the device, its about your internet connection^^ should make sure to have good signal (in WIFI), else it is as fast as any other device...mobile phone, notebooks, desktop pcs, and so on.
It can not run any games, and automatically runs out of space by downloading things without your permission, which are unneeded and you will never use. DO NOT BUY!

I haven't experienced any trackpad issues in two weeks of testing.

I mentioned the Windows button issue we had in the full review. I hear there's a firmware fix for that now. Not sure about the trackpad.

The most frequent game I play through steam is terraria, and tf2 but terraria is a big concern
I don't think this is going to handle steam too well considering this is technically a tablet
