I have come to this twice in the past year, and have been blessed with greater understanding each time, with more clarity of the questions, the second time, and the answers being more impacting, as I've fit myself around the questions. I've come to it, having been out of church many years, caring for my wife, who recently passed from multiple sclerosis, which I share, and brought into the home, and have also recently left my medical treatment, for good cause, bad doctor answers, and no answers. I feel I've been led out of said treatment, having seen it's futility in the end of our 36 years of marriage, and have been able to put more real faith in God, for having fought so long, three decades with this disease, and God remaining primary in my life, while the disease has lost its importance. I don't know where it goes from here, but I know my own faith is immeasurably expanded, I'm sharing more time and faith with our two adult children, and getting more response from them, in return. I am greatly blessed by the cogent, hard questions that strike us all. This "conference" has been full of substance and significant thought, well shared with us, the viewers.

I wanted a man so focused on God that his focus made my focus stay on point. A kind man but not a weak man. A man who wanted to provide but was okay with a wife as a helpmate in any way needed. A man who wanted to raise Godly children and a man with sound doctrine. When I find that man I’ll let ya know.
These sessions are great but sometimes people ask questions that should have a "Have ye not read" answer to them. If you still wonder about the important of expository preaching then just listen to a message and compare it to what you have heard in your life and then tell me the difference.
Wow I never knew about family worship. I wish I could have that with someone. Families please consider the singles in your life and how many people never had a family example. This sounds like make believe. I can only imagine how safe and full that makes children feel once they learn to appreciate it. Wow.
When I look back at yesterday or I'm planning my day today I see it like this. I'm either going to feed my sinful desires or my Godly desires and in between feedings is what I'm living out every single day. I can't have Godly desires if I'm not reading The Word of God daily without fail so before I eat physically I have to eat Spiritually and sometimes it's listening to Voodie Baucham in my car and when I don't desire to hear The Word then I immediately know I've been feeding my sinful desires. It's no different than eating unhealthy and healthy foods because the results don't lie.
I admire the work and passion each one of you have for God, the people and knowledge. Each of you is to admire for the your mission to save souls. We have many objects ,tools and none believers (satanic people) that do everything they can to prevent us from saving others.
People only debate and argue when they don't have any answers and are coming from nonunion and their own intellect leaning solely on their own understanding which the Bible clearly instructs us not to do. But 1st we have to seek union first per Matt 6:33 then being taught by self proclaimed teachers. I encourage all of you out there to challenge any of these men to tell you where you can find “the text” that they speak of. They keep talking about THE text. They should be able to point you to a single volume of scripture. If they can’t, THE text they speak of, doesn’t exist physically for them. Be careful who you believe.

John son of Zebedee, records the prophet John announcing "Behold the Lamb of God, taking away the sin of THE WORLD." John 1:29. Perhaps I don't understand what you mean by allegory? Richard of St Victor wrote the Twelve Patriarchs. I don't understand why pentacostalism is so looked down upon, collosians 2:9 points to the oneness of the Godhead "for in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily", and speaking in tongues, I myself can attest that I have spoken in tongues and it translated in the Google translate to an existing language, the Bible talks about new tongues and existing tongues being spoken, the Bible even points to many practices for speaking in tongues 1 Corinthians 14, I mourn the people that can't speak in the spirit. I think we put too much emphasis on the way in which people speak. I love all these men but each has their own style. I admit I'm not familiar with these men as much as I wish because I got deceived by the charismatic church and then another cult-like church. I thank the Living God I was raised on the Rock and my foundation is well grounded. I couldn't buy into it and that's when the condemnation towards me began. Paul Washer sounds more depressed to me than angry. However, listen to Paul, Peter, and especially Jesus Christ. They were often harsh. We are the salt of the earth. Salt flavors well, is needed for life but it's abrasive and it hurts when it gets inside of a wound, The amazing thing is, salt has healing qualities. Just my POV. I love hearing them all preach and enjoy their styles because they teach the truth. We often misinterpret the verse "judge not...." and stop there. This was awesome. I learned so much and love the expository answers. God does not change so we shouldn't either. I have a question though, if your church starts performing same-sex marriages, allows unrepentent homosexuals to preach, teach, etc., is it right to leave or stay? Most of the churches in my area that teach the truth (or I thought they did) allow this so I feel cut-off from attending church now. I don't drive so my options are very limited. Any advice? Please don't take this as me hating the LGBTQ community as I do not. My daughter is married to a woman. I love her but all I can do is pray for her. However, since I gave my life to Christ Jesus, she has pretty much taken me out of her life because I won't give her my approval. I can't. Yet I love her so much. God bless you all and how can I restore this broken relationship without compromising the Word of God?
Brenda Alexander I'm so sorry to hear that. It must be a really tough time for you. My advice for you is to get out of that church immediately and find a church that proclaims and live out what the scripture says. There is no compromise to stay in a church that twist scripture to stay relevant to our ever-changing culture. As to your relationship with your daughter, continue to pray for her without ceasing. Trust in the Lord for he is sovereign and take comfort that it is He who calls his sheep, and that he may bring your daughter to repentance.
There's a scripture that says we must separate ourselves from such, and another that says we shouldn't love any one more than we love him, we're not worthy of Him.

I feel ya Brother. Prayers for your family. I'm in similar situation. Ephesians 5, the problem we have is we only have "control " over us loving our wife as Christ loved the church. However in believing all of it , the Spirit works beyond.

And yet Christ said you SHALL know them by their fruits. So if somebody is continually acting in a lukewarm fashion what did Christ say he was going to do? He said he is going to spew them from his lips. He himself will oust them in their condemnation. We have knowledge of who is or isn't saved because they will act like people who are saved, and if you aren't acting like someone who is saved, now is the time to get right, not when you feel like it. Christ himself said "false prophets" and you will find that there are many people "professing" Christ but secretly hiding or even openly showing their own inventions of the truth.

These sessions are great but sometimes people ask questions that should have a "Have ye not read" answer to them. If you still wonder about the important of expository preaching then just listen to a message and compare it to what you have heard in your life and then tell me the difference.

When I look back at yesterday or I'm planning my day today I see it like this. I'm either going to feed my sinful desires or my Godly desires and in between feedings is what I'm living out every single day. I can't have Godly desires if I'm not reading The Word of God daily without fail so before I eat physically I have to eat Spiritually and sometimes it's listening to Voodie Baucham in my car and when I don't desire to hear The Word then I immediately know I've been feeding my sinful desires. It's no different than eating unhealthy and healthy foods because the results don't lie.
I admire the work and passion each one of you have for God, the people and knowledge. Each of you is to admire for the your mission to save souls. We have many objects ,tools and none believers (satanic people) that do everything they can to prevent us from saving others.

I encourage all of you out there to challenge any of these men to tell you where you can find “the text” that they speak of. They keep talking about THE text. They should be able to point you to a single volume of scripture. If they can’t, THE text they speak of, doesn’t exist physically for them. Be careful who you believe.

These 2 statements include the world, that is very particular.
Paul says to Timothy, "Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...." 1 Tim 1:15
There is nothing to suggest that there is a "limited" or "particular atonement", that is Christ only came to save SOME sinners.
Paul also says that God, "desires ALL men to be saved." 1 Tim 2:4.
Jesus is the one and only Mediator between all men and the Father.

allegory is finding spiritual meaning from a literal story. The example of Esau and Jacob was allegory as is the example of the new temple in Christ. Perhaps I don't understand what you mean by allegory? Richard of St Victor wrote the Twelve Patriarchs. It was largely allegory but truthful and effective in bringing home the truth of the journey of the soul in relationship with God.

I don't understand why pentacostalism is so looked down upon, collosians 2:9 points to the oneness of the Godhead "for in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily", and speaking in tongues, I myself can attest that I have spoken in tongues and it translated in the Google translate to an existing language, the Bible talks about new tongues and existing tongues being spoken, the Bible even points to many practices for speaking in tongues 1 Corinthians 14, I mourn the people that can't speak in the spirit. I understand that some pentacostals teach on the old testament tithing but can we really dismiss a whole denomination just for one doctrine that isn't preached in most churches? I've also watched blind people healed, not on tv but within my own friend groups after I prayed for them, I've seen prayers answered the following day in miraculous ways, I agree Baptist is a good way to be but let's not divide God into titles let's call him by His name

I love Paul Washer.
I think we put too much emphasis on the way in which people speak. I love all these men but each has their own style. I admit I'm not familiar with these men as much as I wish because I got deceived by the charismatic church and then another cult-like church. I thank the Living God I was raised on the Rock and my foundation is well grounded. I couldn't buy into it and that's when the condemnation towards me began. Paul Washer sounds more depressed to me than angry. However, listen to Paul, Peter, and especially Jesus Christ. They were often harsh. We are the salt of the earth. Salt flavors well, is needed for life but it's abrasive and it hurts when it gets inside of a wound, The amazing thing is, salt has healing qualities. Just my POV. I love hearing them all preach and enjoy their styles because they teach the truth. We often misinterpret the verse "judge not...." and stop there. You have to read the entire text to understand what He is saying. God bless.

This was awesome. I learned so much and love the expository answers. God does not change so we shouldn't either. I have a question though, if your church starts performing same-sex marriages, allows unrepentent homosexuals to preach, teach, etc., is it right to leave or stay? Most of the churches in my area that teach the truth (or I thought they did) allow this so I feel cut-off from attending church now. I don't drive so my options are very limited. Any advice? Please don't take this as me hating the LGBTQ community as I do not. My daughter is married to a woman. I love her but all I can do is pray for her. However, since I gave my life to Christ Jesus, she has pretty much taken me out of her life because I won't give her my approval. I can't. Yet I love her so much. God bless you all and how can I restore this broken relationship without compromising the Word of God?
Brenda Alexander I'm so sorry to hear that. It must be a really tough time for you. My advice for you is to get out of that church immediately and find a church that proclaims and live out what the scripture says. There is no compromise to stay in a church that twist scripture to stay relevant to our ever-changing culture. As to your relationship with your daughter, continue to pray for her without ceasing. Trust in the Lord for he is sovereign and take comfort that it is He who calls his sheep, and that he may bring your daughter to repentance.
There's a scripture that says we must separate ourselves from such, and another that says we shouldn't love any one more than we love him, we're not worthy of Him.

How do you have a family worship when your wife does not see the Bible as the authority over her life, or vice versa? I want to read my Bible not just with my kids, but also with my wife to have a union with God in our marriage. I didn't become a born again until after I was married.
I feel ya Brother. Prayers for your family. I'm in similar situation. Ephesians 5, the problem we have is we only have "control " over us loving our wife as Christ loved the church. However in believing all of it , the Spirit works beyond.

He said he is going to spew them from his lips. He himself will oust them in their condemnation. We have knowledge of who is or isn't saved because they will act like people who are saved, and if you aren't acting like someone who is saved, now is the time to get right, not when you feel like it. Christ himself said "false prophets" and you will find that there are many people "professing" Christ but secretly hiding or even openly showing their own inventions of the truth.
