This is a modern masterpiece. The fluidity, technique & cohesion are simply amazing. The jit samaroo arrangement is brilliant. The coda never fails to give me goose bumps. This is a serious musical accomplishment.
What Jit does with these middle pans in his arrangements is just GENIUS!! Sadly, there will never be another great pan arranger like Jit Samaroo. He just happened to be the greatest pan arranger during the greatest era of the steelband. Now that pan has lost it's prominence in Carnival, no current pan arranger will be able to sustain a career span that equals that of Jits.
well us official now..I am a renegade fan.....I really and truly do give respect to jit samaroo....a true master of pan....doh gimme wrong..boogsie. ..n Bradley n professor n smooth dem good ino...but jit is too much class boy....I enjoy every one of his arrangements. ...such energy...flare...melodious magic.....dis is musical drugs on pan.....I addicted to it....jit has truly defined the steelpan....look how pan sweet nah boy.....o gorm....ah wanto play wit Renegades....amrit alyuh ha place fo a next tenor?

it is such a good feeling when you see stuff that bring back such sweet memories and people I know like my dad who is the best drummer in Trinidad if I must say and my mom, uncle and other close friends.
Due to the increase need of bands to win immediately, no band will take the time to let an arranger develop like Renegades did with Jit. We are truly looking at the end to a glorious era.
