I'm glad to see that Samsung is no longer monopolizing the "Android tablets with pressure-sensitive styluses" market, but a MediaTek SoC that benchmarks lower than an iPhone 11 makes it a pretty bad choice for 3D. Seems like a great choice for 2D artists though. The SD card slot and paper-like screen out of the box actually does make it a good iPad competitor in that regard.
Make the pens easier to manage by making broken pen parts removable unlike for samsung s pen and I'd be fine.
@@darkzeroprojects4245 Wait the tablet version of the S-pen doesn't have removable nibs? The Note/S Ultra version does.
@QWERTYCommander it does, just that if the top part of the nib breaks, good luck removing that if ya can.
I had to buy another s pen because they made the pens with no removable top lid for this ocassion.
If it had that obvious design it would be not a big deal for me.
Note that if you want to actually enter the Ghibli museum, you're looking at reserving months in advance. The chances of you getting in if you just show up are incredibly slim.
The outside is pretty, though.

This pad is almost the same as TCL NXTPAPER 12 pro.

Thanks for the video, man. What's your impression - is it worth its money or one should rather stick with an ipad? Any experience with really complex models or drawings, any lag?
My only experience in terms of sculpting is on this tablet, even though I have an iPad I haven't used it to make art yet... but I will try now that I've learned to use Nomad a bit. So I can't really compare it yet. I didn't experience any lag, but of course the model was realatively simple still.
can it be connected and used as a standard cintiq style tablet or it only a mobile tablet mode. I know xppen probably already has a cintiq style tablet model

I dearly wish one of these devices, Android or ChromeOS, would just support use as a peripheral as well as a standalone tablet. iPads can. It's not too much to ask, surely?
It's nice that it's a standalone digital art machine, but plenty of those already exist. I want to _also_ use it at my desk, and with my regular PC apps. And that's what's XP-Pen is all about, right?
SuperDisplay does that for using android devices as drawing tablets for windows PCs.
I use a galaxy tab S9 Ultra and it supports all the bells and whistles like pressure and tilt, along with pretty much any resolution and refresh rate your tablet supports.
The only thing missing is HDR support.
You will need a USB-C cable good enough to output the resolution / framerate you want, though.
Another shining endorsement for superdisplay from me. It's cheap and super functional. I used to use a cintiq but I dropped it once I got a big Samsung tab and superdisplay. It works wirelessly as well.
I did try to make an iPad work as a pen display as well and while it was OK, I found that the lack of a hover curser ( like on a cintiq or other drawing pad) made it really hard to use as a pc screen.

@@user-xb9gf8hp2v I don't really recommend it as your device really matters as you need something with the right architecture and decent power also you need to at least know the basics of Linux. But Ice Storm tutorials seems good.

@@CGObaid I think it's good, it allows you to forget about your phone for a while and really enjoy a special experience. I don't remember the price of the ticket, sorry. But I do remember that it's difficult to get, you need to buy it exactly one month in advance or something, and they're limited.

I'm not sure Blender is really suited to tablet-only use, in terms of the interface. Maybe a more simplified version of Blender, specifically geared towards tablets. I remember them talking about something like that being planned.

Hello ! I wanna buy this magic drawing tablet for using Nomad Sculpt ! So this app is available both android and Apple without any difference, right ? Last question .. you told I should buy premium version to export my sculpt to blender But where Do I find this price on Android ? Because all videos I see about export, no talking about this plus price ..
Yes Nomad works the same on iPad and android devices. I think it cost something like 17 euro for the full version of Nomad. It was quite difficult to buy, to be honest. It works through Google's app store. You can find a button for it inside the app, in the menu where you import and export.

Don't think it would be, this tablet does have its own benefits but nothing that should get you to switch over if you're already comfortable.
From the looks of it, for what it is, it's a solid product for sure, and considering that this is their first generation of android tablets it wouldn't be wrong to assume that their next generation would be better.
For now though, if they really want to stand out further then developing a driver of sorts, basically an app for further customisation and tweaking would definitely make this tablet hard not to consider for artists, especially when they use their pen technology _(the same in their pen displays)_ in this tablet already.
