    Hey Kevin, thanks for the video.
    Quick question: does it measure output un watts? and can you program it to a specific number of watts? Say, I want to do 50 mins at 230Watts. Does it have that option?
    thanks!.

    hello, looking at get a home bike and was wondering we are not fussed in buying a 'smart bicycle', just as long it is built good, has bluetooth, able to hook up iPad or iPhone and get the data from it. We are not fussed about apps and paying in any subscriptions like the peloton. Is this bike fine without using the app?

    I had a JOROTO x2 and the thing broke after 8 months of usage. I do use it almost daily and the pedal back wheel broke out of place, so obviously the band fell out of place too and I was quite sad about it.
    Does this bike have that back wheel made out of steel or is it hard plastic?

    Does it feel sturdy when using for HIIT training? So going up and down on resistance quickly for 1 minute spells?

    • @RefinedQualia
      @RefinedQualia Год назад

      It does this function perfectly. I purchased this bike for the quick adjustment in resistance for seamless HIIT training. 4 full turns puts you on max resistance. Easily jump between resting and high resistance for HIIT workouts.

    It doesn't look any different than the IC4? I just got the Bowflex C6 this week. Everybody complains about the short power cord. I put my bike next to an outlet. I am glad I got the upgraded seat. The one it comes with feels like a rock to me.

    Thank you! Do you know if it is very different from the IC7 a part for the Bluetooth connection? The magnetic resistance does it makes a real difference from the meccanic one?

      I can only comment to say that I know of someone who has bought the IC7 and says she’s disappointed - that the resistance doesn’t feel tough enough. I have no idea if she’s not setup correctly, but I’d say it’s worth spending the little bit extra for the IC8 if you can. It works great with Peleton for example, displaying your cadence on the screen. Similarly with other riding apps

    Hi Kevin, can you adjust the bars at all? Slide them forward or backwards etc?

      Sorry just seen this. Yes both bars and saddle move back and forward

    Hi kev, really can't justify peloton prices and my months of procrastination have lead me to the Schwinn ic8 but can't find anywhere to purchase in UK. Do you have a link?

    • @kevintuk
      @kevintuk  3 года назад

      We got ours here. No idea if they have stock now www.fitness-superstore.co.uk

    • @kevintuk
      @kevintuk  3 года назад

      Works great with Peloton (and the monthly subscription is much cheaper too) - you don’t get all the leaderboard stuff and you have to do a bit of a conversion with the resistance levels but it’s no issue at all

      Looks like they have stock and £150 cheaper than we paid a couple of months back. Fill your boots :)

      I mainly use Peleton for spin classes. If I just want to spin my legs, I quite like the Explore The World app. It’s very simple but it looks beautiful. I have also tried Rouvy and Fulgaz. They’re both great, but I don’t really have the desire to replicate the road biking experience because I just go out and do that for real!

    Hi, I'm looking at getting this bike. Would you still recommend after using it for a few months?

    • @kevintuk
      @kevintuk  3 года назад +4

      Yep very much so - no complaints at all. I’ve got really into Peloton since owning it and if money was no object, I kind of wish I had a proper Peloton bike for some of the additional features on that platform. But the bike is great and no complaints whatsoever

      @@kevintuk Like the not being able to have the cadence working is a big thumbs down for me being an Android user on Peloton! If I had known this before buying it I would not have got it!

    Thanks for the video... What is the cable for? Is it just for the bike computer? What is your experience after 7 months? Goods/Bads?

    I have to give this bike a massive thumbs down because of the lack of Android support on peloton!
