I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. I'm looking at NVIDIA and other AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies
Well all i know is that you cannot go wrong taking profit at near high. No one ever went broke taking a ~20% profit. It's best if you consult with a fiduciary advisor in situations like this so you can make informed decisions.
That's a great analogy and I love the insight. Professionals could make a really big difference in investing, and I think everyone should have one. There are aspects of market trend that is difficult for the untrained eyes to see.

I don't think of tech as a gamble. It's all that matters nowadays .
@@keto6789 I have always invested in Tech. But it’s still a gamble to invest in that sector. You just have to do research and due diligence on the tech companies you invest in. I was in the tech bubble in the early 2000’s. I look at some of my old trade records from back than. Over half of the techs I bought went bankrupt and don’t exist today. I just wish I had kept the good company stocks like Amazon, Apple. But unfortunately I had a margin account and all my stocks got sold with margin calls. My $60k portfolio in a week was down to $3K. I was wiped out. But I was young, I learned allot. I’m fine with the tech stocks I own today, happily retired with no worries from my technology investments. 👍🏻👍🏻

The difference between the 90s and today is that these systems are inherently probabilistic. Like Roger mentions the narrow solutions are the winners here.

remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I'm up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. It's a common theme for older folk to not understand new era technology. AI is the new revolution.
A year ago on CNBC Roger McNamee suggested AI offered no value. NVDA, MSFT, AMZN, GOOG, etc. seem to disagree. All of us who invested in these companies a year ago made gobs of money.

@@sumguy7716 eventually we'll hit a plateau in the improvements of AI. Not sure when. But so far, the models have been better and better. Just check how horrible text-to-video was one year ago and what it can do today.
The companies are still investing massively in hardware to train the next models. Then the next phase will begin. We're in for a ride and it will be the biggest revolution ever.
