Oh man, you know how to teach. I'm a native Spanish speaker and I'm learning Portuguese as my third language. You explain better than many Spanish teachers teaching Portuguese. Lol, Can't follow the pace of Spanish Portuguese teachers. loool Keep it up, good job.
Hello sir, your attitude towards learning a language inspires me a lot , i am pretty sure its worth the effort thank you so much for your dedicated help for learning spanish and portuguese.
It's amazing cause my original language is Spanish... but taking these lessons I'm practicing my English and at the same time, I'm learning Portuguese. Thank you for teaching us!
I am taking your Portuguese lessons,my wife is from Brazil ,but we always communicated with each other in English and we still do it,so I don't feel like practicing with her haha also teaching is a virtue that no everyone has, I found your lessons and I love them, even my wife is making fun of me because finally I decided to learn Portuguese, obviously I understand some, but no the way I would like too. I feel your classes are helping me a lot, thank you for doing that,by the way I am and native Spanish speaker and your pronunciation in Spanish is perfect, made me think that you at least has spent a very good time in one or several Hispanic countries .
Even though this was uploaded years ago it's very helpful and informative in as I keep going over the clips and matter learning this language has become easier feel myself reading pronounciating following a long
Thank you so much for these lessons. I don't have much experience with Brazilian Portuguese but it sounds like your accent is flawless! I hope you come out with more, you are the best source I use in my studies of Portuguese. I also like some comparisons you make to Spanish, having some of the differences stand out, I find it very helpful.
It's interesting to me that Portuguese is the only Romance language that does not base the names of the days of the week on the old Roman gods for whom the weekdays were originally named in Latin: the sun (Sol), the moon (Luna), Mars, Mercury, Jupiter/Jove, and Venus. The Portuguese system of simply numbering the weekdays is, in fact, identical to the one used in Greek and Mandarin Chinese. Fascinating bit of trivia, no?
Otimo Professor Jason! Which of your Portuguese videos would you suggest continuing with after one completes the fifth jump start video? Obrigado Patrick
Professor Jason thanks so much for your lessons. i would like to know where can I find easy essays to practice pronunciation. I want to be fluent in Portuguese, and I know that practice is the key.
something cool... I also would like to know the name of the Intro song! It's Fabulous! Great choice as an intro "bit". Also, Professor Jason! Love your lessons. I have been using you for Spanish for my Spanish grammar for awhile and was thrilled to see you also teaching Portuguese too so thoroughly. I have been investing in both of these languages and your work sincerely is high quality.

Name of the song at the beginning of the video?
Who is the artist and what is the name of the song at the beginning?
it would be much better to have some explanation on the differences between european portuguese and brasilian portuguese every once in a while.
First of all, thank you very much Prof!
I have one small question: "Qual a data de hoje?" doesn't have a verb whatsoever, how can that be?
Yes, it has the verb to be. Qual """é """ a data de hoje?
Hi! I'd like also to invite you to check my channel. Obrigado!
Ehi! what is the name of the opening song?
At 4:54 I notice that you have wrote "dia" two different ways, one with an accent, and one without. Was that accent a mistake?
❤🇧🇷
Thanks for watching!
very nice prof_ but please want to Portugal Portuguese . ...
+Filipe Areias Meito obrigado
What exactly does "feira" mean? why aren't the days of the week; segunda-dia, terca-dia, etc.? And how weird would it be if someone said that?
Intro song?
