Dwarf Brazilian are somewhat smaller than Cavendish but they have an incredible green apple candy tartness that makes them 1000 times better than Cavendish!
Yes! We need to experiment more with them...My neighbor loves the saba bananas roasted with cinnamon. We love pan frying the green ones in a little oil and salt and pepper. And of course eating them raw. Would love to make an ice cream with them too! Have tried once but I think I need to try it again with a sweeter banana.

They are one of our favorites as well! They are an awesome tasting banana, thanks for watching:-)
Well now we need banana recipes! Sweet and savory. Frozen? They are my favorite in smoothies.

Thank you!
how big do dwarf brazilian banana get before fruiting? cause i live in zone 4b
Ours grow to 8- 10 ft to the crown of the tree however the leaves stick up and make them taller
@@IslandsnHighlands then its not a good choice for me
Bummer
@@IslandsnHighlands i notice my bananas look a little droopy out in the greenhouse its been cold out
Bummer…well it shouldn’t be long until they perk up again! Once they feel the heat they forget all about the cold
Can they fruit inside a large greenhouse?
I don’t see why not, I have seen bananas with fruit in greenhouses so I don’t think they require pollination to set fruit
@@IslandsnHighlands I mean the Brazilian banana
I think it would do great in a greenhouse, it’s a dwarf so it is a nice height for growing indoors
