@@nickromo8195 lol! I actually love studying poetry and sharing it for years, there's a rule that goes, "All similes are metaphors, but not all metaphors are similes." A simile by default is a metaphor, it's just a specific popular style that uses "like" but it's technically still a metaphor since it's comparing one thing another.
So just to be clear: "you are the sun" or "you are like the sun" both are metaphors, one is a simile.
