Maybe, but, a big part of what we learn here is how to cover up lies about our history. *I had to re-educate myself.* My late grandmother was smart, a hardworking mother, grandmother and boiiiii could she cook. She passed away in 1994 and last month I had learned that she was 100% illiterate. She learned everything she knew without school education. I'm not saying schooling is bad, no it's a blessing. I'm saying for example no matter what your circumstances are there's a will and there's a way. John Chiti is planting encouragement and strength seeds in so many people regardless of age. Like the "Mad Man" encouraged him with his words and musical instruments. Everyone needs that kind of encouragement. I'm 53 and I am mixed (Mom's white German/British-American and Dad's brown Mexican - Indigenous Native American) raised in the 70s 80s rural small town in Arizona. There wasn't much of racism in our town at all but at the same time I grew up devided. I felt not white enough for my brown family even though I am light skinned, and not brown enough for my brown family. Discrimination seems too huge to defeat and concord but it doesn't scare me to keep trying to end it, show younger generations so that they can continue the chain to end discrimination and racism also discouragement. Learn something schools don't teach and teach it to someone, Teach and learn.... Learn and teach... Like FORGIVENESS. John's forgiveness of his father's abandoning him tugged the heart.
