Acholi (Joka Jok/Joka Juok) are also the Largest of the Kenya-Tanzania Luo hybrid also refred toas Joluo. The Kenyans and Tanzanians call themselves Luo/Loo/Lou/Joluo because they are a mix all Ugandan Luo but also with Ugandan Kenyan Western Bantu and Tanzanians North Western Bantu. Notable Luo composition in Kenya and Tanzania include the Alur, Acholi, Lendu, Nubian/Madi, Padhola, Baganda, Busoga and Bahima clans from Uganda, Kenyan Luhya and Kisii breaking into a total of 26 subtribes/clans. Najority of Kenyan Luo speak Padhola and DhoAlur but with a few Swahili words. Obama is related to Acholi-Nubian of Alego Clan, Lupita Nyongo is Lang'o-Acholi of the Seme Clan..
This is my 2ND comment in response to you today. You have very important information. I'm challenging you to please do a comprehensive RUclips presentation of the various Luo tribes and sub-tribes in East Africa, especially Kenya, to educate us. Much of the breakdown and tribal combinations you're giving, is totally news to many of us. If you've already done and posted this, please share a link. Thanks in advance.
It's the same here in 254: but the slight difference can also be noticed in French language where YOU has both singular and plural forms ichieo nade - singular uchieo nade -plural
Paul Maxwel when you learn a language you need to know a bit about it, it’s like saying “ I know how to speak Spanish” what if someone said where is Spain? U don’t know
That’s true. Even my teacher of french went ahead to teach us about the french speaking countries before getting to real business. Teaching has it’s rules… from known to unknown.
