That big dude looks a somewhat like a dragon (or is Drake when they don't have wings but still 4 legs? Idk anyways) that lives in a snowy area I've been drawing, which coincidentally that looks like it lives in a snowy area. It doesn't have the long hair, ice-pick like claws, or alligator-like tail though. Looks more like a big old draconic snow leopard, which I'd say is really cool

And at the Giant worm it was basically a Monstrous Nightmare.
It’s based off of the Skrill. The Shadow Wing (?, I’m not sure what it’s called) is based off of Toothless/Night Furies.

I love the new lightning dragon and everytime you do a vid on it im always impressed
From what I see a lot of their dragons are suspiciously close in resemblance to dragons from other movies or games, the blue one in this clip looks like I think it’s a skrull from how to train your dragon, and the wyvern looks like smoug from the hobbit
Tbh though nearly any dragon design is gonna look similar to another persons design, not saying your wrong. Some do look like that and theirs alot of people who would love to be them too though.

@@monkeyl-Well it’s not a wyvern, and secondly httyd does NOT own the right of making a dragon with no legs, spikes, and able to breathe lightning.

Yeah I remember everyone screaming it was a scam and now everyone is re-promoting it and making vids so I'm actually genuinely curious on how that got "sorted out". Were people just overreacting to fake fear?
I never kept up with it all. I just remember everyone hyped a dragon game came out, then everyone hated it and now it's back to getting positive vids made on it.
@@whoahanant Yeah, there was a lot of concern and overreaction by peeps that it was a scam in the beginning, but you can now see the progress clearly here.

At first I though the wyvern you were showing was a drake because it wasn't using it's wings for support, then I realized it was sprinting

The isle situation where ppl thought anth was paid to ignore beasts of Bermuda by dondi. Anth came out about it saying something about that being illegal.
Like until we get a solid answer on why he’s covering DoD again, I cannot in good conscience support that game or this channel
@@DragonsController8 it can be a simple thing as dev asking him and showing him what the game has now. Also the reason he dropped it was drama involved which died down. He thought it was decent idea in it's beta so could've been still open to it and got access to see the behind the scenes stuff to give some faith back. Not going to lie they like to hide stuff till it's ready and seems sketchy, but seen actual scams where people take off with the money, usually if you see actual models made they probably going to try committing to it. The main problem is mismanagement at the beginning and getting a lot of attention as someone making his first game
I know it's mainly dragons but I'd love to see a Gryphon themed dragon

Yep. Its a Wyvern. Why? Because Dragons have 4 of them legs, Wyverns 2. Rathlos is a Wyvern for example and the most powerfull, Fatalis, is a Dragon. On them two monsters you can see the difference perfectly.
It also shows why Tigrex is called a Pseudo Wyvern in MH, thing has 2 legs and uses its wings as additional ones as they did evolve to be usable like that.
Also : I want this game. Now. Why does stuff like that take forever these day's?...

By the time this game is in full release people will lose interest and it will be past its time same like the isle evrima..these small game developers have passion and they know how to make a game but they dont have manpower and resources to make them which is sad

Unfortunately they released their 1.0 with less than half the content promised. Probably shouldn't have called it a 1.0 release but... I'm not a professional game designer.

I'm lil pissed. Basically only kickstarters can play ice drake. Others have to work their ass off to get change to play it. Somekindoff mission and I bet it's hard mission.
KS paid hundreds to get exclusives. If you simp hard enough in their DC I'm sure Jao will throw another few hundred codes out for free.

These guys need to release something just like The Isle Evrima it’s loads of dead servers with like 5 people not much too do though a much nicer community of people flying the dragons as I’m able to grow without dying 30 times first lol. Though with nothing to fight other then PVP and little bugs it’s not much for entertainment. Gotta add something for AI that makes it a bit harder and more entertaining to try to fight. Just my thoughts as I enjoy the game but only for a short time hence nobody really playing it along with the obvious bad press.

This game made me upgrade my pc and spend hundreds but is a total disappointment 😂 the game feels so outdated and idk what happenent but the quality is not the same as shown by this content creator sadly. The map is awkward and feels like roblox tbh 😂

Jao should be taken to court to take this game from him and give it to a dedicated team, including the money he made from it so stuff can actually progress

It's pretty, but I don't see anything that looks like a game that would interest anyone over the age of 12.
How is anyone impressed by good 3d modeling anymore? It's a good model. How many of those can be on screen before I get frame loss? How good are they rigged? Since that's a different process. Sorry but I've grown pretty cynical. I've played the isle for a long time (among other games) and constantly remaking already good looking models is a waste of time. There so many other things that are so much more important than just the models.

Ugh, I will NEVER forgive the creator of this game for stealing my, and many others’, money and just dipping out. They have had plenty of time and funding to pay a small team to have this finished. The fact that people still give this project any screen time is sad.

you underestimate how much money Uncle Sam takes in taxes not to mention how much kickstarter keeps from the initially raised funds.

@@dragongamer2670 They never stole any assets. The dragon models and a lot of effects and environment models (ai, nests, certain flowers etc) were made and paid for by the devs themselves... They are even working on a sick custom map

What have they updated coding wise? People keep carping on about how great it looks but honestly has anything changed to improve or add any mechanics?

@@Braint-lr6uf Nah. I know Evrima has taken an age but they have been testing things and actually have new mechanics with each update. While Jao slaps a couple of fancy dragons on the update and calls it "game changing".
I mean there is one mechanic DoD has come to think of it. Electrocuting and stunning other dragons as Blitz. A dragon that is also DLC. You either pay up or harass other players who bought it to hatch you.
