After breaking down her working chemistry with Ja Rule, she talked about the label's feud with G-Unit, as well as Irv and Chris Gotti's federal trial. Later, Ashanti explained her decision to go independent and revealed some more secrets from her career.

Excellent interview Ashanti did. She knows what to say and what not to say and when. She respects everyone she don’t down anyone, if so she keeps it closed 😁.
But Ashanti is real, she just stays away from negativity and negative energy and people. Love the way she has worked with JaRule Joe etc. They respect Ashanti as a sister and Ashanti respects them as a brother and they have love for each other. She is very classy and intelligent. I’m wondering the same thing. 🤔Because to interview Ashanti and release the video 9 years later is crazy. My guess is he see that she’s trending on social media because of her pregnancy and engagement to Nelly, so he probably thought this was the perfect time to release this video.
