I worked as a valet at the Courtyard Marriott from 2015 to 2020, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, especially in the vibrant downtown area on 16th Street. The excitement of sports events and major concerts brought an incredible energy to my job that I truly miss. After my shift, heading to Rock Bottom Brewery to unwind became a cherished routine. Those years were filled with memorable experiences and a unique sense of community that I often think about. If the opportunity ever arises to reconnect with that lifestyle or pursue a similar role, I’d be thrilled to relive those moments of excitement and joy.
This looks a bit like Los Angeles downtown, I think, but of course much smaller scale. I always have to admire how clean everything is in American cities, in most places, everything so tidy and clean, sophisticated people, looks well organized, happy and relaxed for most part. One always thinks American cities would be much more crowded, compared like maybe in Asia, but no, absolutely not, I find, that even New York City is not too crowded, comparing with Asian cities or Moscow and St. Petersburg also, you have many wide open spaces even in big cities ion America and people do not bump into each other. Looks like great life definitely.
I live in Denver and you are mostly correct. The crowding is worse around the city on the roadways but is avoidable. Downtown in many spots can sometimes feel empty which is an eerie feeling. I supposed most of us live in the suburbs - I’m on the edge myself. The homeless in this area have rapidly expanded, I’m surprised how the video doesn’t seem to show that but that has led to some trouble keeping clean. Overall, you’re right though - Denver is a great place to call home with fantastic music scene, access to nature, arts, food, professional industry of all types, and quite walkable / bike / personal electric vehicle friendly.
I used to live there in the Capital Hill neighborhood and was on the 16th street mall all the time. You were either getting swarmed by panhandlers or trying not to slip on the thin ice after it would snow.
Don’t be fooled by the video. As a native of Colorado….16th street mall is filled with drugs, prostitution, and filth. It’s one of the worst streets in America.

Be careful with this place, it's gotten junkies lately since Pandemic, or at least check reviews that are more recent.
