    This is a dance performed by the Banyankore. The Banyankore are from Ankole land, found in the Western part of Uganda. This originates from the Nkore or Ankole kingdom which is one of the oldest traditional dynasties in Uganda.
    African music is nearly always coupled with some other art form, such as poetry, ritual or dance, and it constitutes one of the most revealing forms of expression of the African life and soul. They have a sense of rhythm. Some tribes combine dance and music, and they explain history and the social elements in a form like the theater of today. Dances were most of the time closely related with religion, ancestral worship and spiritualism.

    This Traditional dance from the western Uganda Tribe of Banyankole culture and was performed at the traditional ceremony of Kiiza and Brenda. Its used to entertain and educate guests at the ceremony. usually its danced by both boys and girls, women and men. who go through several dancing styles.
