FBE Basics, How important is understanding FBE for pipeline coaters

In this video I discuss how vitally important it is that the parties working on the anti-corrosion components of a pipeline coating must understand fusion bonded epoxy coatings (FBE) in order to properly perform any field applications. The majority of oil and gas pipelines, transmission and distribution, have FBE on the mainline of the pipe. Regardless of the system that will be tie into the mainline coating, the applicator and inspector must fully understand how to properly tie those systems in with FBE.
