Fabulous work! I love creating textures in my watercolor using acrylic inks, plastic wrap, salt and a palette knife. Please keep sharing your wonderful work.❤️🙏☮️
I love the color shaper. It is what I first noticed when you were working with acrylic inks. It makes the most amazing marks! Especially when you pull it over other colors or use two colors mixed together.
Really beautiful Trina! Again, I love the mark making and scraping back into the wet media with the color shaper and the smaller silicone tool you used. Colors are fab! Wonderful textures and granulating colors! I'm wondering what a tiny splash of the yellow ochre would have looked like in the sky? Kind of contrasting the dark/cool with a light/warmer color there? I haven't tried too many different mediums with watercolor yet. Lately I have been working with acrylic inks, watercolors and acrylics, with collage and Derwent Inktense... Thanks again for sharing your creative journey! 😍🤩😍
I agree a touch of yellow ochre would have been nice. The small color shaper is awesome! It’s really changing how I apply paint. Thanks for watching! 😍
Love, love, love your work. The color shaper is new to me and I can’t wait to try one. I create line and wash but am trying to expand into multimedia using watercolor pencils and the colored graphite pencils you use. Bought a gelli thingie but haven’t tried it yet. Thanks for all your amazing videos.
Hi there That was really groovy. Your artwork turned out beautiful. Nice and loose I love mixed media too. 😍Can you explain to me what you did with the piece of paper and the stylus to get the grass down the front please? If you wouldn’t mind. Mixed media is the bomb. I use charcoal and acrylic and oil and acrylic inks anything I can get my hands on really, watercolour pencils sticks from nature. it’s endless really when you get going so much fun. I really enjoy the way you’re speaking through your process as you’re going as well. It really helps to understand what are you doing and what you’re using. Thanks again. Have a lovely day happy painting.👍 🖼️🎨🖌️thumbs up
So I’m putting a layer of oil pastel onto deli wax paper and then making marks with the stylus. It’s great for getting thin lines with pastels. I’ve also used a palette knife to create marks. Thanks for watching! 😍
I'm curious about the neo colors, around here the price is from 50 to over a hundred dollars to buy and there seems to be all different kinds. I'd really like an explanation of what they are, wax crayons? Wax pastels? Colored crayons? Ink? Chalk pastel? Some kind of marker? What are they comperable to? I already have oil pastels somewhere, chalk pastels, ink, charcoal, water soluble graphite, watercolors, coloring pencils, and more.
The Neocolor II are a high pigmented water soluble wax crayon. I like them because they are so versatile as you can use them like watercolors or make bold marks. The set I have is their warm palette and yes, there are many different sets. You can also order them individually. If you have other wax crayons and supplies use those. I’m always a fan of using what you have. Hope that helps! 😍

Love the layers and grungy texture! Beautiful! I must get some energy and go paint. The storm damage has rattled us all here!
Thank you! I’m sure you will get back in your studio when it feels right. Take care my friend. 😍

In the meantime keep the vids coming to spur me on
Your images remind me of the Texan landscape around the El Peso area. That’s an area my parents family used to live 😍
Oh wow! I love it when people can relate to the work. Thanks for watching! 😍

@@MixedMediaArtByTrina so wax water soluble crayons hum. I have no crayons, would a candle work?
@@nicoleperron3315 for the resist you can use oil pastels, regular crayons, or a candle would definitely work. 😍
