I don't have a Samsung to test, but I'd imagine it would. At least with my iPhone 7, the resolution button let me choose all available recording resolutions (e.g. iPhone 7 goes up to 4k 30fps), so if your phone goes that high or higher, it should shoot at that resolution.

Why does the video look choppy during the Vertigo you did? Isn't the purpose of this gimbal to smooth the shot out? Looks like it's easy to tell that you're walking by how shaky it is (not being critical of you, but rather questioning the stability of the motors in the Smooth 4).
Great question. Operating a gimbal effectively takes practice and even the best gimbals will result in shakiness if they're operated poorly. I unfortunately didn't have much time to practice with this device before I needed to post it, but I do plan on shooting another tutorial/follow-up video with more information and best practices (with better Vertigo shots as well).
Ok, would be good to see a side-by-side comparison of this against the DJI Osmo Mobile 2. Pro/Cons of both and a series of tests that show the two units off head to head. Any chance you can do this for us? Thanks!
