I’m an Aussie and I applied for my visa today woohoo! I’m very much overthinking the whole process and nervous I’ll mess up! I’m now stuck on the supporting documents that you need to upload for the biometrics test, I am stuck on the accommodation section which asks to provide hotel reservation, rental agreement ect because I don’t have a place I’m staying yet. What did you do for this section? Did you complete every single section? This was such a great video thank you!
I'm so excited for you!! Way back when I did it, I didn't need to upload accommodation details - but if it's required, you might just need to book a short-term hostel so at least you have something to show. All the best with your application!
your channel has been so helpful for me! I am moving to the UK in March from Canada. Was wondering if you could make a video about what to do/ prepare for the move while you’re closing in on the move. Been stressing over this so much! Feel like there’s so much to do but it’s still to early for me to start!
Hello, i want apply for this visa from canada too, how long does it take to get a response ? we need absolutely wait 6 month before i go ? Thank you :)
I’ve always wanted to travel outside of Canada and have recently been thinking it would be an exciting experience to try living abroad for a year or two! I’m currently applying to university. So my current thought process for this is to graduate around the age of 22, work for a year, then maybe move abroad. I think this visa would be perfect, because I want to stay close to family long term, but just move away for a few years! I’ve always wanted to visit Scotland (plenty of ancestors from there), Ireland, and England! Never really thought much about when or how I’d visit those places, but I think this visa would be a great start! I’m definitely gonna look into it more!
That's such a lovely idea! The UK has actually just changed the rules for this visa - I'm going to make a new video. Now Canadians ages 18-35 can apply (instead of a cut-off at 30) so you have more time to do this visa ☺️
Hi can you make a video on how to apply for rent in uk? And also how easily done that is? Is there any extra steps needed to be taken? Do I apply for a place to rent when I’m in the country or do I do it once I’m in the uk, same goes with a job, do I apply when I get into the uk or when I’m outside of uk?
Hey! I'm from canada, and I am planning to stay for the 2 years, do i still need the TB Test results? Also if you dont mind explaining a little more about the funds? from my understanding the money must be in my account for 28 days, and then i would get the bank statement. would i have 31 days to apply after i get that bank statement? Thank you for the straightforward and motivating video :))
Canadian passport holder don't need to do the TB test. The money needs to be in your account for a minimum of 28 days - basically they want to see that it's YOUR money, and not that you've been given a lump-sum from somewhere and it'll bounce out of your account by the time you apply. If your balance has been over the required number for at least 28 days, you're good to go!
Thank you for this informative video. I have a question: Can I submit an online application form for a Youth Mobility Visa while I am in the UK, or do I need to be outside the UK to do so? I am okay with submitting my biometrics in Canada, which is my home country. Currently, I am in the UK on a different visa, so I want to know if I can submit the online application form from the UK and complete the process in Canada. Or do I need to be outside Canada even to submit the online form?
Thank you so much for this information! Will they need to check multiple bank statements, or do you just need to show one? As well as how long was the turn around time for you after submitting your application?
Thanks for watching! You only need to show evidence of the required savings you have - that could be done with one statement. I have a video on my channel about visa processing times as well ☺️
Do you mean a Skilled Worker visa? That will allow you to stay in the UK with that employer, but it's not for any permanent employment - you have to prove they can't easily hire a British person to do that job www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa
Okay so i applied and waiting for Biometrics in July, hopefully it is approved and i have my passport back in Aug. I am Canadian Citizen and intend to start VISA Jan 2025, however i am also going to London in October 2024 for a week to visit my brother using my Canadian passport. My question is - If i have received my entry visa for Youth Mobility on my passport (with 90 days permit) and make entry into UK in October, will i be immigrating under the VISA or just my canadian passport? Once i make entry into UK, how will i know that my BRP card is ready to be picked up?

@@hilelyahia-cherif1867 once you go to the biometrics appointment it will be about 3 weeks until your passport is back.
@@courtneyoakes Thank u! So if i apply today i Can put in my application a departure date in 3 months instead of 6 months? Its sufficient?

I have a question Canadians can’t apply till January 31.
If I apply then can I go in July/august ?
Unless the application has changed, when you fill out your application you pick a date for when the visa states and when you want to enter the UK
Great breakdown, are commonwealth countries eligible?
Hello do u need to have any educational requirements to be accepted?
The Youth Mobility requirements don't involve education - just your nationality, age and having enough savings.
Hi! does the 24 months start counting only after you entered the UK with the Youth Mobility Scheme visa, and not from the date your visa was approved?
Your Youth Visa will have a "start" date that you submitted with the application, so the countdown starts from that day.

What about everything on extending this visa! Do you have to be in the UK before applying? if not, can you enter the UK to extend?

Hello, any Asians nationality can applied? Like Philippines? Thanks
Hello, What if we get a permanent employment offer while on this Visa? Can we apply for a normal work Visa from the UK?
Do you mean a Skilled Worker visa? That will allow you to stay in the UK with that employer, but it's not for any permanent employment - you have to prove they can't easily hire a British person to do that job www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa
Hi, Thanks for your information. Did you pay for the biometrics appointment because when I apply in UK, I need to pay for this appointment.
Yes, I paid for the Biometrics Appointment. However, some Service Points offer free appointments - although I've never had a free one.
Hey, please i want know when i apply online do i need to download my documents ? or it's at the VFS ? Thank you :)
Does this visa help you get a British Citizenship? are the two years counted towards your residence to be eligible to become a citizen?
If you then can apply for another visa which can extend your stay, then possibly yes. If your eligible
I also applied and they didn’t send me the check list now I have to wait and reapply on January 31
